A few days ago I was on Facebook when I came across this really odd looking bird in a video. I was about to sign off the web so I simply saved the video for another day and almost forgot about it. Sooooooooooo, have you ever seen or heard of this bird before?

I have seen that video many times. Weird looking indeed and it seems like they are scary at first sight seeing something like a disfigured bird.

I have researched about those birds, they are weird looking. Tuffy seems comfortable sleeping close to Roscoe.

Yes, very weird. I too am trying to find more information about them but apparently they are not very well known. Tuffy loves to be close to Roscoe and me when he naps or sleeps.

@rebelann It is a weird bird and strange look. Cats love to stay warm. We went out yesterday, it poured and my cat wanted to go out. I thought he would have stayed under the porch... NO I came back home that he looked like he got a bath. Well, at least he is clean now, I got a towel and placed another on the floor, he stayed there until dry.

I agree. Those two sleep like that at night, Tuffy finally figured out that humans and dogs don't play at night.

Strange looking bird, kind of creepy that they blend in so well with the trees-that would totally freak me out. Your pets on the other hand, are adorable, even when they are not playing and are having a nap together.

This is the first time I've ever heard or seen this Potoo. He is a strange looking creature. Love the pic of Tuffy and Roscoe . Kids are so cute when they're sleeping

Very strange indeed. Tuffy likes to be close to either of us when napping during the day and then at night he sleeps with both of us.
