Exercising at the Gym

Today was another rainy day, I carried my umbrella to the mailbox, mailed a letter and picked up the bills. I walked around the parking lot and went inside for awhile then decided to go to the gym to walk the treadmill and ride the stationary bike. I walked and rode about an hour before heading back to my apartment. I’d much rather walk outside but at least I had somewhat of a workout. The rain hardly let up all day. But now it’s time for bed. I hope all my friends sleep well tonight in your corner of Myllot land.

Been ages since I don't go to the gym. But since days are getting warmer, I think I would just go jog outside.

I'd much rather walk outside if the weathers not too bad. The weather is warming up nicely. It's almost spring.

@RubyHawk Me too! Because the weather here now is unpredictable, so I skip outside. Just yesterday, the sun rise and suddenly rain at afternoon during the sun.

It's good you got your workout in . . . better to exercise indoors in the comfort of warmth and dryness! I know, nothing beats the outdoors . . . but this is temporary

That's true nothing beats the outside, I think the worst weather we'll have now is rain. Spring is almost here.

Sometimes when i don't get out to the gym I walk in my apartment. It's not the best, but It's a way to get the steps in.

@LadyDuck The pollen will be comnig in here any day now. I've started sneezing too, although I haven't seen pollen. Buds are sprouting out and some flowers are blooming.

@RubyHawk It's sad they don't. Not many people do here either. One of the maintenance men told me I'm the only one who uses the bike.

@RubyHawk That is something I miss once I left the Air Force, no gym on my doorstep. The local ones are a couple of miles away, so I'd get a work out just getting there!

It's our gym in the complex. I was the only one there. it isn't large but there's everything needed for a good workout.

Yes I did. You can see it’s a small gym but it’s all I need. Not many people use it and I don’t go there often.

Sometimes if it's too stormy, I don't get out, but I walk in the hall and in my apartment.

I’ll use ours when the temperature gets high this summer. I haven’t used it as much this winter. I’ve considered it, then get out my coat and scarf for my walk.

There is no rain here, and it is extremely hot. It is nice to sleep when there is pouring rain.

Neither would I if it's was crowded. This is a small gym for the use of the apartment complex and very few people go there, including myself, I'd much rather walk outside if the weathers not too bad .
