Very Confusing Day

I needed some new workout clothes, because I haven’t bought anything much since the pandemic began. I’m glad I went, because there were some really good sales going on.
The second I tried on the green jacket in the photo, my phone rang. It was my friend from my favorite store, Saks Fifth Avenue. I didn’t answer it. Too busy shopping 
A minute later, the phone rang from Bloomingdales, my least favorite store. Haven’t shopped there in years and never will again. Didn’t answer.
Got home, received 2 phone calls from Bloomingdale’s! Deleted the calls. Then I received a text from my friend at Saks, asking if it was a good time to call me. I told her to call me immediately. She called, and her number came up as Bloomingdale’s!
Apparently, she’s working at Bloomingdale’s now. I will stop by to visit her, but told her I won’t be buying anything there. Oh, well.

Oh, she's a real saleslady and I'm a gullible shopper, but not anymore. She wants to go out to dinner with me and hubs and her husband, but I won't bring it up unless she does.
Thanks! I really needed some workout clothes and would have paid full price, but the sales were a huge bonus!!!

I do kiss and hug my friend who used to work at Saks and now apparently works at Bloomingdales.

I can see why that would be confusing. But your friend should also know not to use the store phone to make personal phone calls.

Nice workout clothes. Glad you got some good deals. Bloomingdale's was never my store either I preferred Macy's because there were always sales,

@DianneN at this time in my life I have all kinds of Crocs in various colors to wear and two pairs of sport shoes I have not worn yet. I live in my Crocs,

She called on her own phone first, but I have no idea. Both phones have the same number. I told her about my experience with Bloomies. Too long to explain here.
Thanks! That's my favorite of them all. I'm bringing it home with me, because it's too hot to wear here.
