Getting in Shape for Real Skiing

Luckily, I like winter as that's what we still have here.
Hoping to ski in the mountains next week. So getting in shape by X-country skiing this week.
I'm glad they are still setting the tracks as snow is dwindling.

@paigea I've been getting the pots ready on the front porch for Spring planting. I planted spinach in one last week and am waiting for them to sprout... I'm hoping it won't get too hot too early this year. I want to eat some before it bolts.

@kaylachan I'm over that fall now. But my house work has fallen behind and I have errands. Hopefully I'll at least get a walk today.

Good that you like the winter. Many here in myLot are already fed up of snow and winter in their part and are impatiently waiting for Spring.

@arunima25 our winter is long. Officially on the calendar, it's spring but as you see it's still freezing much of the time. Still plenty of snow.

@paigea Spring is the most beautiful and loved season. But sadly, it is for a very short duration. It's just for a month or little more here. Our spring is officially over.

I miss winter at least a week of snow I would enjoy, I have never skied and once I tried to stand on skis and could not do it, I hope you enjoy skiing,

@paigea Our summer here has only been more than two months, and it quickly passes. There are not many mosquitoes, and mosquitoes are very small.

Yup, that's snow OK...too late for it though in my book. In Mid March though the big resort in WVA has snow in Mid March. I have been there before for that. It can be very warm during the day though..snow on the ground and like 70 degrees.
