I got up to pancakes.

It was chilly in my room so I got up and went to the kitchen.
Claudia was there and a delicious aroma came from a skillet. The sweet daughter was making pancakes!!!
She told me that she had thought of taking them to my room so that I could have breakfast in bed. I´m glad that she didn´t because I moved to the sunny living room. Claudia has a blanket there and I am installed mylotting while the sun greets me from a big window.
Claudia told me that we would be alone today as the eldest children had their father´s birthday and Sofía was at the beach with friends.
She doesn´t want me to go with her to my house as "I´d be in her way". I agreed. So I mylot and she works.

Oh I love pancakes. I sometimes make banana pancakes. But plain pancakes are good too.

My youngest daughter is very introvert and many times I don´t even know whether she likes me or not. But in these cases she is always for me although she is not the kind of person who is saying tender words all the time. The thought of giving me breakfast in bed means more than lots of words. But I am glad that I got up in time to have my breakfast in the dining room.

@LadyDuck I know. I remember that my husband (with a way of being very similar to Claudia) not many times "told me" that he loved me. But I know he did. And many times I nagged him and asked him "Do you love me?" and he always replied "yes dear" with the automatic pilot

@marguicha We are not all the same. My husband is an introvert, but I have learnt to appreciate his little attentions and compliments. No need to tell me all the time that she loves me.

Claudia was planning to go to the beach on this long weekend. Instead she is painting my kitchen in spite of the neck problems she has. She told me that was being careful though.
