Yesterday I was very happy to find a person through Face Book that I hadn´t heard of since she was maybe 7 years old. Now she must be almost 50. I had a friend, the best one in my childhood, that I met in the US when I went there when I was 12. We were best friends ever since I met her, on my last year of living there, and we wrote to each other faithfully for many years. I went to visit her 3 times when I was married and then she came to visit me twice after that. I was in shock and numb with pain when I learned that she had died in a car accident when she was around 50 years old. And I never heard of her family again because I could not and did not call them again. I was in complete denial for a very long time. Now, last night, almost 30 years later I found her daughter. We talked online and she said she wanted to know more about her mother. I wrote by e-mail the chapter one of many, if she wants to learn my side of a long love story betweentwo girls. I am very happy, whether she wants me to write more or whether she doesn´t. I did learn that she is a single mom. And her daughter´s middle name is the same middle name my eldest daughter has, her mom´s name. And her own middle name is my name
