Are You Delulu About a Celebrity?

If you are then you have to know what the word delulu means. It is the short version of the word delusional. This term is used to describe superfans who have an over-exaggerated love for their celebrities. I guess I could say I was delulu during my teenage years over the teen idol David Cassidy.
This slang term also refers to those who have an unrealistic view about their favorite celebrities thinking that with time they will meet them and get to know them thus delusional about this.
I am delulu over many different types of music and singers.
To quote from the net:
“The slang term "delulu" is derived from the world "delusional". It is often used on social media to describe someone who holds unrealistic or overly idealistic beliefs or fantasies”.
Often I go a bit delulu over the songs that @FourWalls posts but I also learn from them and get reminded of some old ones I had long forgotten.
Sometimes I think that there are many people with delulu brains on the Internet but that is only natural these days and to be expected. So now it’s your turn –
Are there any singers or rock groups that you are delulu about? or perhaps you are delulu about the love in your life. I know I am delulu over my cats Freddie and Morticia.

@LadyDuck totally agree with you but I will say that I am saddened that today's teenagers do not have the opportunity to enjoy the period of raving about teen idols that my friends and I got to enjoy,

I'm not really delulu about any celebrities or my husband. I'm not delusional about them. I do have favorites -- The Beatles, Elton John, the Bee Gees...I have many favorites. Have a great day.

@LindaOHio in other words you are a very rational person which is good. I was a bit delulu over my husband because he was as they say the rock I could lean on and he could take me by the hand and lead me anywhere.

Pony's latest song makes me delulu about him. But I am delulu about many singers....RD, Priyanka Barve, Mugdha Vaishampyan, Kishori Amonkar, Lata Mangeshkar, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Shreya Ghoshal, Asha Bhonsle, Talat Mehmood, Hemant Kumar, Alison Krauss, Mandy Harvey, Julie Andrews, Frank Sinatra, .... the list is not exhaustive. I was delulu when the late singer Donna Summer was at the peak of her popularity in the late 1970s. As I got older, the relationship of admiring her faded but I still admired for being honest and God fearing.

Thats a new term for me but I can brag that I saw David Cassidy in concert
