Which one would she prefer do you think?

Lately, I have been into incense since I got some for free. It relaxes me more than candles or anything else similar ever has. I also got two incense holders for free as well (pictured). The incense stick goes in the back of the turtle, and an incense cone sits behind the heart. With the heart, the scented smoke comes out of its lips. If you think they are both kitschy, that’s okay too. They go with my 60s looking living room. The thing is, my 12 year old niece, Amyra, wants to try incense too, and I said I’d give her a holder of mine. Which one do you think she’d like better?

I also think she would like both, but would lean toward the turtle for that age.

Yeah, the lips might be preferable for an older teen.

I think she'd prefer the turtle best. I used to burn incense but can't anymore. I'm allergic to the smoke.

@DaddyEvil I am so sorry! That’s an awful disease to have. Bless your heart, DE. I know you are NOT a woe is me person, but lord have mercy, that is tough stuff to deal with.

@AmbiePam No, I can't breathe. My eyes swell shut because I have Grave's Disease.

The heart and lips are more striking, but for a kid not even a teen I think I would go with the turtle.

I vote for the turtle! I have tried incense before, but I think what I got are not good so it irritated my nose instead of calming me. Right now I am into essential oils and diffusers, with the changing season static has been increasing in our home too so the diffuser helps with that somewhat.

I had incense before that was just pure smoke. It only made me cough. So I understand.

I myself would pick the turtle for myself, so I bet she would like that one.

I don't really know what a 12 year old girl may like. Although probably either! I think the little turtle is adorable though

Yeah, they were free. And incense came with the turtle; it was quality, which I did not expect. I think I looked at the heart as goofy, but most others are maybe seeing it as provocative?

@much2say I’m so lame. I see those “heart lips” blowing a bubble with chewing gum.

@AmbiePam I do think the turtle is "age appropriate". Ah, yah, the heart/lip one has a kissing/romantic gesture - maybe good for someone for Valentine's Day .

Oh incense is amazing! For a 12 year old I would go with the turtle, personally. Now I'm definitely going to have to light some incense here. :)
