Happy Valentine's Day.
Since today is also Ash Wednesday our priest suggested we celebrate a day early as today is a day of fasting and most people give up sweets for Lent. So I bought some flowers (for myself or for the household?) and gave a card and a little bag of candies to my husband and daughter.
I had to go out for the evening. When I got home there was a bag of Hershey's kisses and yet another Valentine's Teddy Bear on my spot on the couch (hubby long gone to bed).

I am so very very thankful for the fact that you have George with you and are able to still talk to him. It is so valuable to a person to have the person that they love with them to share the love and memories and the future, whatever it might bring. I thank God each night for his allowing George to be with you still, and that George is making progress. Happy Valentine's Day to you and George. If you are able to, give him an extra kiss as a gift to both of you from me and my brood (Both Petey and Freya the fur babies send their love too!).

Happy Valentine's and whoopty doo. My sentiments. However, one thing that went right was that Chewy delivered my cat litter today fo it became my Valentine's gift to my cats. The cats send their best meows to Kitty on this day,

Happy valentines to you and your kitty. It was a regular day for me. I did take frosted cookies to my granddaughters at my son's and him some fancy jerky. He gave me nice plants. Both of us are cutting back on sugar. First year I haven't had any valentines candy.

After calling all day I was able to speak with my Valentine. Was able to understand about half of what he said; but he was more like his old self again. Have a good day.

I'm just hoping for a quiet day, which might be kind of impossible. I'll explain in my discussion that I post in a little while. It's one of those things that fell on me like ten tons of concrete. I don't have too much in the way of gentlemen friends to present me with Valentines mementos. Not that I am big on the monetary expression of love, it is more important to me that it is an expression of love by physical being and doing. I would give all that I have to once more have Boo Bear Bill's arms around me again. I miss him terribly. Even more so on Valentines Day.
I just hope that you have a great day, and maybe material objects like chocolates and a flower or two. If I lived closer you would get a few chocolates (dark ones of course, they're my favorite) and some flowers.
