Today is the second day of being in the 70's. Really nice outside. We got all of our radishes and carrots planted. We fixed four totes to plant potatoes in .and all we need now is to go tomorrow and get some potato plants.
We mowed and weed eater the whole yard. Now everything is ready to plant. Next we will get all of the planters ready for my wild flowers. That will be easy you just threw them in to the dirt. One year I did that and the wind came up. Every yard but ours had wild flowers that year.
Two houses are up for sale here. I hope they sell fast. The one was a rental and the land lord is tired of renting it.

@jstory07 I can't say I blame him. Renting can be a great sorce of passive income, but often it's not worth the overhead.

Yes it is but we like eating fresh vegetables. The yard has to be mowed and not as bad when we do it together.

@jstory07 No veggies sound better to me! haha. I am kind of glad for apartment living, don't have to mow a yard.

It's way too early to think about planting anything here yet. It's only 32 degrees here today, and we will get a hard freeze the next two nights, at least. Winter is still here, off and on.

Those super hot temperatures just bake tomato plants, I know. I always plant them, most of the time I do well with them. I do put them in a spot that gets partial shade throughout the day, which helps.

Sounds like you had a very productive day getting your garden ready with the nice 70 degree weather! Planting radishes, carrots, and prepping totes for potatoes is great progress. Having the yard mowed and trimmed will make everything look tidy once the plants start growing in. Wild flowers scattered by the wind can add some whimsical color, even if they end up in unexpected places that year. It's exciting to have houses for sale in the neighborhood - new neighbors can bring fresh energy. Here's hoping those properties sell quickly to owners who will appreciate the community. Productive outdoor days like this make the most of the early spring warmth. Well done getting so much prepped for your garden!
I love that picture!!

I planted wild flowers, they were very beautiful! After they went to seed, two neighbors down the block had wild flowers growing in their yard

Good you still have the strength for gardening. I have stopped it long ago as I can no more bend my knees a sit for long.

There are plenty of horror stories about bad landlords and probably even more horror stories about bad tenants. I hope you get nice people to move in.
