The rain is back! How is the weather where you are?

We have had a few days of sunshine and temperatures in the 60s F. I was surprised to hear the rain when I woke up this morning. I see the wet pavement and hear the rain coming down, slow and steady, Seattle-style. It's not "misting," like it was a week or so ago. These are big heavy drops.
I haven't checked my Guitar Center schedule yet today. I am on my first cup of coffee and will return (respond to) some emails before I do anything wild and crazy, like go grocery shopping. I ate a slice of ham. I have an egg cooking on the stove.

Hot again - and very sunny. They're saying no significant rain till June which is a bit worrying. And meanwhile there are floods in the eastern states.

Spring showers?
It's been really hot here. Yesterday it was 40 degrees C. We're expecting more hot and dry weather in the next few months.

@TheHorse No, I live in the capital. But there have been reports of wildfires in different provinces. Schools have been suspended in these regions because of the extreme hot weather conditions.

Our drizzle stopped and it’s been a gray, very wet day. We just had a round of icy pellets. Now icy rain. Give me snow anytime over this sloppy mess!

We are a little chilly in the mornings. Still too cold to put house plants outdoors. In the afternoon it is sunny and pleasant. I think we had some rain earlier this week.

It is summer here and people are complaining of the heat. School classes are suspended for 2 days because of heat index. It is hot but at times the cloud is grey and looks like it will rain

My position is directly under the equator, and that makes Nigeria a hot country, Each time it rains, we appreciate it because it makes the weather cool.
