Average 70 MPH Winds Here

In Boulder it was 90 MPH and above.
There are 150,000 without power in Colorado so they say, luckily we are not one of them at this time.
The wind has been sounding like a freight train here for all day yesterday and now into the night and ongoing.
I recorded a couple videos as I could.
I am sure there will be much damage as a result of these notorious winds we get here.
My place is like a wind tunnel receptor here on the frontage road to i-70.

@RebeccasFarm We don't have a windy weather.The temperature has fallen down giving some respite from the hot wave.

I hate when the wind blows strongly. In the youtube I noticed that the sky wants to open up and let everything out.

@RebeccasFarm Yes they have floods too often. I am not near the shore but still on the Atlantic side so we still get the strong winds and rainy weather.

I70 is closed across the western part of Kansas due to blowing dirt. No visibility. Put some rocks in your pockets and hang on for dear life, girl.

Haha Heather..I was shocked at how much it was literally lifting me off the ground...oh yes that long stretch of 1 70..I know it well, have driven that long lonely stretch years ago many times.

Ugh! I saw the one video. Those trees looked like they would surely snap in two. Hopefully not. We are getting wind here too.

I saw that fire in Pueblo, fanned by the high winds. I’ll take our “high” 35 MPH winds that we had Tuesday instead.

It does the rounds the wind..all over the country, you get them too sometimes.
Oh good was it Pueblo? Didn't see that..anyway that place is gang city..it needs to burn.

@RebeccasFarm — the worst we’ve ever had was an 84 MPH gust, and we had that TWICE last year. The remnants of Hurricane Ike weren’t that bad!

I hate when the wind gets so hard, I'm sure glad we got the
trees down that we were buried in so we don't have to worry
about when the wind blows it can blow ALL it wants now.

@RebeccasFarm I ignore all the hype about hurricanes, I have been here for six years and only really saw the wind of one hurricane, I cannot afford to dwell on them with my anxiety,
