I remember reading that rule when I signed on years ago but it stated simply that no one was allowed to post derogatory or malicious content about another member.

If only there weren't those Harriet types around In the 14 years I've been here I've never gotten to see those kinds of posts ....... I wooda reported them if I had ....... but I have seen some that let everyone know about a well liked member passing away which I know admin wouldn't object to. Does this mean my chair can rest easy now cuz ya can't make fun of it anymore??

Oh, rats, someone talking about me again? And I didn’t get to corroborate things? Seriously, there’s a vast difference in genuine concern (such as late last year/early this year when Linda Ohio’s husband passed away) and malicious gossip. When Linda came back I deleted the discussion about her. And “I wonder if (whomever) is okay” is not the same as saying “that lowlife brat.”

If we don't ask about someone whose disappeared how would we know they passed?
