How important are politics to your identity?

None. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Nada. My identity is dependent on my relationship with God, not any political party.

I can’t deny that I’m passionate about certain political issues, but I’m not the type to take to the streets to express my stance. I still care deeply, as these issues are part of who we are as citizens of our countries.

I would say it is pretty central to me, and I believe what I believe. That doesn't mean I think people who believe differently are bad people, *but some are." Most are just either naive, or it is part of their tradition.

@AmbiePam Politics is right up there for me and it is integral to my identity. I want to see the hungry fed, the downtrodden lifted up, the foreigner respected, all people treated equally and with dignity - that’s politics for me and it’s who I am. Party politics is something else and it’s just about getting power and looking after your own sort.

No, I rarely give politics a thought except at election time. And then I vote for my preferred candidate at the time, so it varies.
