If you knit or crochet please add me to your friend's list. There is nothing I love to talk about more. I'd love to cheer you on. But I can't comment on your photos unless you add me as a friend. So let's get the creativity flowing and show and tell all our projects.

I love to crochet! I don't knit much but can make ribbing! I have been crocheting since I was a little girl. I love to make afghans; I usually end up giving them as Christmas gifts. I am working on one now, trying to get it done in time! I also love to make hats and scarves, my grandchildren lose them about as fast as I can make them! I have make some dog sweaters recently also. I have a crochet blog where I have published some of my own patterns.

I like to crochet and knit. I learned as a young girl. I'm not real good at it; but I'm learning as I go. I just crocheted a purse and it's not too bad for a first time purse. I did'nt use a pattern, I did it on a whim. I used a lash type yarn and a regular medium weight yarn to make it. I made it pastel; pastels are my favorites. Please add me as a friend. Thanks!

I am a crochetaholic. I have so many different projects started and it feels like not enough time to finish them all! I am working on 2 different blankets for my husband, he loves big cuddly ones. So he has a green one in the works and a chicago bears colored one also in the works. I have a couple of other projects (blankets/throws) laying around to be worked on when stressed out or just want to pick one up and start working on it. But I love yarn and crocheting.

I love to crochet baby afghans. When my kids were little I used to crochet animals for them, and barbie dresses for my little girl. But they are grown and I just am hooked on spending my tv time crocheting, I do it everynite. I haven't knitted since I was a teenager. I love the knit patterns better, but just don't have the patience to count. I haven't tried crocheting with thread yet. I have some pattern books though. I have so much I want to do, time is my issue. I am also trying to finish up our house. We've been trying to finish it since I met my hubby 6 yrs.ago. Since then, I have painted, repainted, and remodeled over and over. Everytime I turn around we are starting another project and not finishing the others first!! Now the grankids are pouring in, ha ha. I'd love to add other fellow crocheters to my friends list or they can add me to theirs. I am excited to meet some new friends.

Those remodeling projects sure take on lives of their own, don't they! And grandkids underfoot too!

I love to crochet, and I am finishing up on a scarf right now. My next task is to make a little bag, then I would like to learn how to knit. Once I accomplish that I think I am going to try and be creative and make up my own design. good luck to whatever you may be working on :)

It is definitely worth making up your own projects. It is much more fulfilling to me, and a plus if you want to be wearing something original.

I enjoy crochet, but it is something I do for a few months, then don't do for awhile, then start doing again. I am currently in another "doing" phase. I saw a girl wearing a crochet cap that I loved, so I made one. My husband saw me doing that and has asked me to make him some slippers. So I have been trying to find an easy pattern for that. I like to stick to small items that I can finish quickly, otherwise I get frustrated and stop mid project.

So here I am sitting behind the computer while my crochet project awaits completion. I have only to finish the other half of the hood to the sweater and the front panel for the pocket and sew it together. Here I sit. The project is my first that I have used a pattern for. I am better with knitting than crochet. I will continue to crochet, but don't know if I will use a pattern. Blankets and afghans are easy....sweaters are not.

Not yet. I'm waiting for a sale. Then I will definitely get the circular ones and give the a test run. If I like it, I'll get the oblong ones too. Which one do you use more? Do you always use a double strand of thread?

I only crochet. I tried knitting years back I just couldn't get the hang of it. I find crocheting much easier. I crochet doll clothes and hats. Check out my link my profile.

I am not sure what "friends list" does or is, but I do love to crochet so added you :) as requested. I have tried knitting but really do not have a knack for it, sadly. The eyes on your cat avatar are intriguing, btw.

I used to crochet. I could never get the hang of knitting. I would drop a stitch, and then I could not get it again. Now I only scissor cut silhouettes for a living. www.mgcreativearts.com is my website if you care to look.

I've been crocheting and knitting for a long time. I retired a couple of years ago so now my days are pretty much filled with computer stuff and knitting/crochet projects. I'm currently working on a baby outfit right now--it's knitted with cables and I'm knitting both left and right fronts at the same time so I don't mess up the spacing of the cable twists. lol I have a gazillion patterns, so if someone is looking for something, just give me a holler. If I don't have it, I can find it for you. One of my websites has a page of links to craft sites--some with free patterns. It's at http://groups.msn.com/gabbygaylesplace
