How often do we thank someone? How often we feel sorry for our mistakes ? How often we say please ?

please and thank you are necessary phrases in everyday life...without please and thank you one would seem like they have a very poor upbringing... i say sorry when im wrong...i dont have a problem with admitting it when i make a mistake...

I try to be courteous and respectful as much as possible. However, if I feel that I am being disrespected, I will not go out of my way to make someone feel liked. That is just how I am.

Yes, I believe using these words are the polite thing to do and of course, you need to mean them. If they are said without sincerity, you might as well not say it as far as apologizing is concerned. The "please" and "thank you" is the courteous thing to say. Too many children are growing up not being trained to be courteous.

I always use manners and taught them to my children as well. Manners are important; they show respect, courtesy and class. Also, it is important to treat others the way you would like to be treated so if oy are polite with others, hopefully, they will reciprocate.

I try and say please and thank you all of the time. It's one of the courtesies that make society a nice place to live in. When I make a mistake, I try to make it right, and apologise.

I always try to say please and thank you to show respect or appreciation. If someone doesnt say please or thank you, I might sarcastically say something like, "you're welcome!" first!
