better microsoft or linux?

Linux: for programing and learning Windows: could play game better Depend on you I use both linux and windows

probably linux is safer and stable a os but it depends what you need to do for example many jobs or universities project are based on some microsoft softwares or applications so in this case you couldn't change as easely..as regards gaming for example you need windows normally so it depends in many cases working on your pc using linux for your normal work and windows just when you need it can be an option too!!

Xp is ok, Vista is rubbish, Linnux i more reliable and stable than either but some applications and drivers are not yet available. all the best urban

If you pick linux you can avoid alot of pc viruses that you could possibly get.

Stay with Windows. Why change OS? Linux will only give you more trouble, unless you are challenged with Linux' tech stuffs. Linux has less drivers, less applications, less games. There are so many varieties of Linux that don't even compatible to each other. Why bother yourself?

better linux, and for the programs which work only in win use an emulator is enough and they work also to linux ;)
