How far would you drive to help a friend?

A good friend of ours is moving. He has a 4-bedroom house to pack up and move out of before the end of December. We drove 3 1/2 hours to help him. Would you go out of your way when you have a friend in need?

I've driven to Tn to talk to one of my reps at the time, and to see if there was anything she needed. I've also placed several long distance calls to her, and have continued to do so. When I had my avon biz (just closed it) I really went out of my way for alot of people.

I would go as far as I would need to to help my friend. They are my friend for a reason, and if they need help for anything I would be there no matter the distance.

Thats what being friends is for. You sound like a good friend. I would do almost anything for a true friend. I have always said it is ok to use a friend, just don't abuse a friendship. We all need help at some point in our lives.

Yes I would for a good, trusted friend. Friends like that are few and far between! I know that friend would do the same for me? I couldn't stand to let them down when they needed the help.

I have had to let people down in the past. But this was due to prior obligations.

Yes, I would go out of my way to help a friend. It's at times when you are in need of help that you find out who your real friends are.

Sure, if a friend needs me to help then, I'll go out of my way to help. How far I will go depends upon how much time I have available to help. A 3 1/2 drive would not be unreasonable for me to drive, though.

If I was able to, I would. Once a friend was in San Antonio in a hospital. We were based in north Texas, Wichita Falls. He didn't want to wait three days to be able to get back into tech school. He had already missed enough time from tech school and didn't want to be set back any more weeks. If he was able to make it before those three days he had to spend waiting for transportation, he would have been set back further. So we drove all night long to get there the next morning to pick him up. It was a very long drive!!!! But we did it anyways because we wanted to help him and we were able to.

Yes, I would go out of my way to help a friend. Although we ended up not going, once we were going to go from New York to Virginia to get a friend of mine. She ended up finding a ride but we would have gone if she needed us to. I know she would do the same thing for me.

To me that is what shows who our true friends are. The ones who are willing to help even tho they in a way cant try to find ways to help no matter what. A tru friend is there for you in good time and bad almost like a spouce.
