Yes .. no problem at all .. I've had a mobile phone for at least 10 years but I doubt if I have made more than one call every couple of years .. and I never have it switched on .. not until I actually go to use it that is ..
The only reason I have a mobile phone is for emergencies .. if I break down in the car ... or similar emergency .. and truthfully of the calls I have ever made with my mobile I can only remember one being for myself .. the others were to call for assistance for others in trouble ...
I simply do not feel the need to be at everyones beck and call by having my mobile switched on ...

That's a difficult one for me, because I never make calls or receive calls on my mobile, the only time I use my mobile is for making and receiving texts. However, when someone needs to contact me and I don't want my housemate knowing then rather leaving a message or phoning on the landline I give them my mobile but only as a last resort. They are also useful if I break down in the car.

I have to say that I am one of the few who can not stan mobile phones. I could definatly live without one. I just got one a short time ago, because my mother is very ill and they needed a way to reach me every minute of the day. Would not be difficult at all for me.

I always have my mobile with me, I even go home when I forget to take it with me. So yes I think I would be lost without it.
Its funny how we come to rely on things, when years ago there was a telephone box on every corner, now I hardly ever see one about.

No, I definitely couldn't do without mine. I keep it beside me at all times as I am too lazy to get up and use the landline, even though it is only an arms length away from me. I also receive most of my calls from family and friends on my mobile phone.
