Hi Hariharbhat! I use ebay a lot! But so for I've only bought from ebay, not sold yet. But often buying from ebay you can actually save money. What I do is I think of the things that I need and will have to buy soon, or things that I often buy, and I see if I can get any of them cheaper on ebay. (Of course I take the postage into account too when working this out.) You can save quite a lot on some things. Do some searches on ebay on things you often buy - its actually quite interesting! I do plan to start selling as well quite soon, but probably not in a big way. I have a one year old daughter who of course grows out of her clothes very quickly, so I may sell some of her outgrown clothes. Also some things I don't want anymore, like some books etc. Another way you could possibly make money is if you can get something wholesale, then sell it at just below retail price (including postage). Some people also sell antiques. Where I live there are a lot of 'charity shops' or 'junk shops', selling second hand goods. I hear that if you know what you are looking for, you can often find something really valuable in these shops, buy it for junk shop prices, then sell it for a large amount on ebay! I know nothing about antiques, but I am thinking of sometime getting a book about them so that I can learn and see if this is possible! Regarding how you start buying and selling, its difficult really to know what to tell you. There are very good 'user guides' on the ebay site. But if you have any specific questions, I will try and answer them for you with pleasure! :)

I've been an ebay regular for a long time, both buying and selling. It's a great way to pick up some bargains (though always remember to check things like postage and the feedback of the person you're buying from etc) It's also a great way to sell some of your items you no longer want - you'll earn a bit of money that way. Some people do things like dropshipping (connecting with a big company that stores the stock and delivers it for you etc) others sell ebooks etc. It doesn't cost you anything to be a member or to buy - but it does cost you to list and sell your items - just have a good look through it - there's plenty of guides showing you how to do things there.
