This is not to put down america or american citizens. It is just to show what is going on, and probably all over the worl. the worls is so screwd up that it scares me. According to a swedish magazine (i will put the link in the end although noone probaby will understand, but atleast there are photots.) An american soldier named steven Green was obsessed to revenge his friends that got killed in the war in iraq and that ocors considered him to be physically ill. despite this they gave him medicines and sent him right back out there. this resulted in him and atleast 2 other soldiers to assult a family. they shut the mom, the 5 year old child and the dad i a room and shot them, After that they raped the 14 year old, killed her and burned her body. According to the magazine this information comes from the soldiers who were there. this just makes me sick. i can not belive that this can actually happen, and I do blame the doctor as well from sending him back after they understood that he had a phsycological disorder... So what do you think? Who is to blame and who will be taking the blame for this innocent family loosing their lives?

to call it normal is a bit strange i think. there is nothing normal with war and there is nothing normal in killing people, no matter if it is soldiers or civilians!

first of all, i believe that the US government has no right to intervene to the affairs of other countries. i don't even agree with the US launching a war against Iraq. it's too ruthless, too selfish. let's admit it, the US war of aggression has resulted to the deaths of thousands of innocent civilians. my country, the Philippines has been one of its victims. last november 2005, a young Filipina was raped by US Marine Lance Corporal Daniel Smith. he was convicted but his three fellow marines were acquitted due to lack of solid evidence. the victim has gathered initial victory due to the decision of the court, but, because to the US' demand of returning Smith to US custody,of which the Philippine government gave in, the victim and the Filipino people in general's sovereign right, was violated.

The MOST soldiers are honorable men adn women and this discussion was not ment to disgrase anyone or to say that all soldiers are bad. Just to poiint out one certain thing that happened to involve a soldier who happened to be from America, I am not american. I am from a country who has not been involved in war for hundreds of years.. I consider myself lucky. I also do belive that no matter how screwed up this soldier was he had no right to take this into his own hands and harm this family, but like i said before I also blame the war itself and the doctor who didn´t take it seriously enough to see that he was really sick and had no buisnesss beeing out there!

It is sick! I also have heard this a month ago and it made me cry. My inside was paining for so long, truly. What was the fault of that innocent young girl who didn't have even an idea what has happened to other Iraqis or US army. What was the fault of this family who didn't even know that morning what will happen with them. Its so much disgusting. In my opinion, very strict action should be taken against this insane, inhuman, disgusting action by that soldier, his companions and that doctor who called him fit. I know that nothing will happen by US army and that men would be set free but at the judgement day, Lord will do the justice!

Welcome to the Hell that is war. Who is to blame? Everybody is to blame. Certainly that perpetrator of such a dastardly deed, certainly his doctor, certainly President Bush, certainly Saddam Hussein--certainly all people of the world--because we do not know how to live without war.

I also agree with you. That is why I have always commented that we all have to do an introspection. We have to accept the truth that we do not know how to live life without war. It's sad but true.

I'm disgusted by this act I really am, but I'm also disgusted at the way American Soldiers are being treated in here! That is awful! It was absolutely not right for that soldier to do that! No way! Completely wrong! JAG will get him along with the U.N. and U.S. I am the wife of a soldier and also was one myself! I find this disgusting! I am literally sick to my stomach. I understand the military can do more for it's people for PTSD, trust me I know the inner workings and have been making a stand for better mental health care after deployment, but to bring down the entire U.S. military for is shameful! We have done lots of good not just for us, but for many other countries as well or do I have to go over the history of wars? I believe there was this man named Hitler once? Absolutely horrible!!!

What a horrific and thankfully isolated event! My blame for this would lie with the US military for sending him back and with the soldier himself. How terrible!

I feel like medications cannot fix everything and more should be done to help the soldiers who have lost friends. I think that everyone has a peice of blame for this situation

I am with you here! Everyone has to share the blame here- the doctors, the government, the men who did this-- I believe there were more than 1 involved in this-- This was a tragic event that happened.. But we must remember that we only hear the bad things- yes this was terrible! and the soldier should be punished for it-- But we are doing some great things in Iraq as well... And alot of the Iraqi's aren't doing such great things for us- Nick Berg?? Beheaded.. Its just a sad sad situation!

I think PTSD isn't taken as seriously as it should be. It's a serious mental condition with a lot of repercussions. This is a pretty sad case. The policies that allowed this soldier back into combat should definitely be questioned.

What a pity for the war victims! I feel down to hear this. I wish there was no war, so we can live in peace, no attacking each other, we live on what we have, no hurting, no pain, no killing, no being crazy about war again, I love peace like other people do.

i think war makes people "crazy" but i think what you described is more than crazy! those persons must be sick in their heads! war where is it good for? people are dying on both sides, people are hurt, missing family, homes, friends. who is the blame? ofcourse this soldier! he knew he had a problem, but instead looking for help, he made it much worse. his problem won't be solved that's for sure!

Probably the U.S government will blame the soldiers and will put them in jail!!!But I think, this is a real problem that, like it seams, doctors can't realise!!!these 3 soldiers were the first(or not) who did these kind of "jokes" or "murders", or you can call it how you wish! I think these soldiers are a mess, phisically!!!On the battlefield is like that! And in Iraq is worst than this....just think a little about this.....Should we kill inoocent persons just for the oil out there???Think a little on this.....
