I cannot bring myself to watch his speechs. I only heard what he said because my daughter called me up to see if I was watching and gave me a brief rundown. I personally do not feel that we need to send more troops. We need to withdraw our troops.

Yes this war was started under false ideas which were propogated among the common people like u and me..how many of us actually know that Iraq was a secret ally of USA before the kuwait war.It was only after Kuwait agreed to pay USA money to defend itself tat USA changed its stand wit Iraq. 1. If America wanted to remove a dictator? why didnt it do it during the Kuwait war itself? 2.although USA has given Iraq a chance to be democratic and hence change themselves... but wat i wanna ask here is WHO IS USA TO DECIDE THE FUTURE OF IRAQ??let the people of Iraq themselves decide their fate.. 3. Iraq was better governed under Saddan Hussein even though he was a tyrant.. he modernised the society and didnt build the society on Islamic principles... but after USA invaded it... all the development of the country has gone to dogs...the country is now being Governed using Islamic rules and regulations.. 4. A single man had kept all the people under him together n kept the country united ... but after the USA invaded the country the Sunni and Shia Muslims have started a blood bath by fighting against themselves... all the development made by a Dictator is spoilt by USA : a democratic country. Hence i feel that troops should be sent to Iraq till there is peace in Iraq and the government is successfully running again cause if u dont send troops or withdraw the existing troops, the internal war would escalate and many innocent Iraqi Civilians would die..the deaths of the innocent people would increase the animosity the Muslims have against USA as they would blame USA for all wat has happened....hence then someday later we would find Iraqi Muslim youth joining the various terrorist groups which plot agaisnt USA and this would be a larger problem for us.... so i request you to not just think about the present but also think abt our future.. the future of our kids who will live after us ..lets chalk out a better TERROR FREE tommorrow for our forth coming generations...

i totally disagree with sending more troops...bush has no clear cut plan for iraq...and just like he said yesterday they are a sacrifice...if the people don't want us over there then why be over there...why is the us trying to change the few and concepts of another nation...we have problems in the us that need to be handled..instead of all that money being wasted over there..u make some good points but i disagree....how many more of our troops must dye because of lies, money, and disception...

I didn't watch either; I knew I'd be to angry. I hope we don't send more troops to Iraq. They (the Iraqis) need be in charge of themselves or we're never going to leave there ever.
