Wow - I still earned twice as much yesterday here at Mylot as I usually earn!

Guys, I am still not sure if the star ratings are affecting our earnings or not, because from my findings yesterday (the people who replied to my topic ^_^ ) it sounds like even some people without a star rating earned double their usual amount. Only a few people said that they didn't notice a change. All I know is that when I was finally able to log in today, I found that I had once again earned even more - very close to four dollars - and I know that I posted less than 100 times! I am so amazed at this new earning potential, and I'm really curious how many of the rest of you still saw bigger earnings for your work here yesterday? ^_^

Yes I know that I didn't do as much yesterday as I have been averaging. Exactly how much I don't know. But I did notice a change in the payment "acale". MyLot has been working very hard to clean things up so it has to be allowing them to pay the quality posters a bit more.

The link is above. On the bar right beside the top of your avatar picture. It says - discussions - interests - messages - friends - etc...

P.S. I forgot! On the list of discussions page (mylot.com) there's a second line of links under the - discussions - interests- friends - etc. and the last one in this second row is - "discussions my friends have started". I like to check that one out a lot... Later..

I am new here so go easy on me LOL just how do you become a QUALITY poster?? I haven't even figured out how to find others to talk to except this. Am I blond,blind or just stupid LOL. I hope I can figure this out soon.I know I have 2 friends here but I can't find them either I tried searching by their names and cam up with nothing. Will you help me. thanks lifeiseasy

Same here shywolf...I have earned a little over $2 the last 2 days posting a little less than I normally do...this is WAY up from what I have been earning when I first joined

I didn't notice much of a bump in earnings yesterday, but I did notice a very good increase today. Granted I was a bit more motived then the day before, but I did about the same amount of posts and got double what I had earned the day before. To be honest up until these past few days I was starting to lose a little bit of faith, but I realized it was me and the amount of time that I was putting in. Thanks to the new ratings system and also tanks in part to what appears to be an increse in earnings I am more motivated to post here on myLot.

I was surprised with my yesterday's earnings too! I earned close to a $1.50 which is the highest I've ever earned in a day..hehe..I know, its not much but I didn't make an extraordinary number of posts either. Maybe myLot is really paying more. I have no idea what's happening though, but its good:)

I've earn about the same thing. But yesterday I didn't really started a discussion s maybe that is the difference.
If we make more money it's good, but I'M mostly here for the discussion so I don,t really care if the amount have double or not. But I'M happy for you :)

Yes, I was shocked to see how much I made today also. But on the other hand, I was very upset to see my ratings going backwards each time I responded to someones post today.

I did not notice a change. But then I didn't post a lot yesterday. I was very tired last night and went to bed early. The star rating is not supposed to affect your rating. It just indicates how you are rated among the community members. I do feel, however, that people will see someone's star rating and rate their response either to boost or lower their rating, which isn't fair. I was a 10 when the stars first appeared and and have now dropped to a 9. Again, it is probably because I didn't post much yesterday so there was nothing new on which people could rate me.

I earned about $1 yesterday which is more than I usually make. I don't know if it is from the new rating system? I posted one discussion yesterday that got 100+ responses so that may have helped. How do you find time to make 100 posts in one day? That's great!

Wow! That's a great news! If the star rating really affects our earnings, then many people here may try to respond well to get a good rating. I am still wondering though, how does myLot rate users? As far as I believe, I give sensible responses to discussion and my responses are usually 4 to 7 lines. I wonder why my rating is just 3. Is it because I only make few responses in a day?

Hi, I have not seen a difference so far at all. But maybe i am not doing something right :-) I have no idea what makes you more money, posting discussions? answering discussions? adding friends? etc.. Anyone have a clue to how exactly this works?

The stars & ratings haven't done anything for my earnings. In fact, I seem to be getting less on some days. I don't keep track of the exact number of posts I make each day. But I do remember that I made quite a number of posts about 2 days ago & all I got was like 30 cents! Pathetic, but well, as long as I enjoy what I'm doing, it's not a big issue...

Yes Shywolf I do believe that the rating counts towards the earning to and we both know that you paid by the Quality of the responses you give and we do still have some with just yeah or fine and things like that lol so how do expect to earn the same as Member that goes into the Response and not just puts words to earn money

wow. I didn't really pay that much attention, but then again I haven't been on much this week to tell a huge difference. I was on quite a bit today, so maybe I will notice something different on today's earnings.

Maybe those with 10 stars like you can see the difference. LOL. I'm still without a star. Not sure whether the rating system does double the usual amount or not.
