Why do some people start 10 - 20 discussions a day with just one word as a subject, They cant be getting many repies to them all, can they? Wont these be removed? Isnt it better to start less discussions with better content?

I like the ones that will ask a question just to start a discussion and not put anything other than ???? in the description of the discussion.

I don't even bother responding to them, why increase their earnings. I would rather respond to my friends discussions. They take more time and effort when posting a discussion.

I suppose it is the people who have English for a second language who start most of them. I used to respond to them and then I noticed my points dropping so I guess the topics must have been removed. Just to be safe, I no longer respond these posts.

Yes I think it is, I've noticed my points and earnings both dropped a couple of times so I wont be replying to any anymore even if they are easy to answer. Its just not worth it. Thankyou for your reply

I think that some people have misunderstood txhe whole concept. i know for sure that some people think that they earn from starting discussions and doesn´t realise that they don´t get paid unlesss someone actually replies. I NEVER replies to discussions like this and if all people stopped doing it they would eventually dissappear!

I'm into content myself, but for some it is about rank and money, I suppose. It's difficult to navigate around the fluff somtimes. Even more so, if MyLot turns into a place where saying the "right" thing in the right way is the name of the game. I tend to pass over the more pointless discussions.

Does seem a bit pointless, some of the one's I've done haven't been fantastic but I try to make a bit of an effort, think it's just a vain attempt at making money, but I wouldn't have thought it would work too well, unless you've got lots of friends who do the same thing and rate and respond to each other. Does seem a bit pointless though and not what I want to waste my time doing.

It's mostly people I think that haven't been members for long and they haven't got to grips with the rules and regs here. Jump in at the deep end, it's understandable. These sorts of discussions do not require 'thinking' and no and yes answers are easy and I guess some people think that by answering yes or no will earn them money. They also bury the discussions which require indepth thinking and lengthy responses which is a great pity, a lot of people will ignore these in favour of quick responses, in and out and move on. I do try to start discussions which involve thinking and not quite simply yes or no answers.

I think that MyLot is removing them, along with anyone that replys something to them. A lot of people just want the money, and have no interest in rules or friendship or quality posts.

in my opinion they should all be removed and as far as i know they are. What really annoys me is that they damage anyone who has responded too for they too have their ratings reduced as the discussion is deleted

It's a real pain isn't it .. when I logged in this morning I checked out the new discussion sections and it was one after another .. jumbled up words, no real topic and really uninteresting .. I went back through around 200 of the last started topics and responded to just 2 ... In fact I won't even bother trying to reply to them now as I am sure that MyLot will be deleting them later on ... The shame is some of them could be good ideas with just a little extra effort and changing around of the header words ...

Mylot should took this situation seriously. Thay should make a new rule to avoid discussions with dumb content. This action to improve quality of mylot. For me, i feel that my discussion that i have posted still not good enough. But i try to do my best to improve myself. Because sometimes i really need a response to solve my problem.
