A woman in Pennsylvania let her dog out for the morning and soon discovered that her canine had an unusual number of tree trunks to attend to, lol - all around her overground outdoor pool were 37 used Christmas trees! ^_^ Whoever put the trees there, for whatever reason they did it, took their time and organized the trees all around her pool and set them all upright. She was told by the local police to call the city to have the trees removed. Someone had too much time on their hands, methinks! LOL! ^_^ More here: http://www.davesdaily.com/out.php?id=23630&url=http%3A%2F%2Fapnews.myway.com%2Farticle%2F20070113%2FD8MKCK000.html

Sad, just sad...it sounds like something I would have done in my youth, LOL. I reckon you are right, way too much time and a lot of x-mas trees. However, you have to appreciate it. At least they didn't do any property damage or something like that, just looks like they had some fun.

This must have been pretty funny! The kids sure are getting creative with their pranks! At least things like this are not destructive to property- they are just a nuisance, but in the end you could say it's funny and that no harm was done.

wow, I agree, someone had too much time on their hands. And to think, when I was young we were only creative enough to roll toilet paper on a friend's lawn. I would have been tempted to drag the trees to the front lawn and set up a small Christmas tree sale! Undercut the local tree farm.....

It was probably done after the holidays when everyone was throwing out their trees. Somebody went around the block picking them up and stood them up there. I doubt anyone paid $40 or more per tree just to pull a prank.

haha thats pretty funny! I remember once my friends (if you can call them that)stole a whole heap of 'For Sale' signs and lovingly placed about 20 of them on my front lawn. Plus a few witches hats. It was a pain

That's funny! And to think kids in my neighborhood are still just tipping port-a-pottys for jokes. I'll have to tell them to start getting more creative.

It does seem an awful lot of effort to go to just to keep your neighbours dog from weeing on your trees doesn't it? lol

To tell you the truth, this story is a little freaky. I guess it was just a prank, but still, I'd be sleeping uneasy if it were MY swimming pool.

This sounds like someone has it in for her and done it deliberately.

Have to agree... someone was way too bored! How weird! Not sure what the reasoning would be behind it either? I'd venture to guess it was someone that could look out and see her reaction, but I could be wrong. Strange indeed.

Sounds a bit scary to me, someone or a few people quietly, arranged that stuff on her property and she was completely unaware. I would want it investigated, it just sounds so wrong...SS

If the yard wall was high, how did they manage to do it? And how on earth they were doing it without the people in the house to notice anything. And what about the dog? I think this is a very weird story. You are right!~

I don't know about Pennsylvania but here in the UK there was a surplus of real trees. Everyone was buying artificial ones to be 'green'. It sounds like someone had some surplus stock!

this is very weired. this is not an easy work to do. there is no way one person can do this alone. there must be more than five people. or maybe david copofill.

its great to have a dog or a cat, one day your dog might find 37 christmas trees, and you might call somebody to have it moved.
