Hi Guys, I was just wondering if anyone out there has read the eyre affair. It's not a very widely known book but I would compare it and the rest in the series to Harry Potter....Its like the adult version. I suggest it to anyone that has read and liked Harry Potter

Do you know the name of the author? I have to admit it sounds interesting and I'd be willing to look into it. I've never heard of it before but that doesn't mean a lot. There are so many books put out each year it can be very easy to miss some.

I was looking for fforde ffans when I first joined this site, and now I've learned how to use search properly I've ffound you! Did you know he has his own website, jasperfforde.com? You can read more of his stuff there - he publishes The Toad as well as a blog on those pages, plus there's a seriously surreal fan fforum.

I adore Jasper Fforde's work. The Eyre Affair is so funny and smart. Have any of you read any more of the series? His website is as funny and clever as his books - check out www.jasperfforde.com out.

Yay, someone has actually read The Eyre Affair on this YAY!! Yes I have read the others and I would have to say that Sommething Rotten is my favourite. Whats yours? I've been to his website once and I found it entertaining and extremely clever. Jasper Fforde is a brilliant author. I just wish more people would read his books.

I tried to read this book in print. It didn't work! Now, I listening to it on audiobook and it still doesn't work. I know it's supposed to be great literary fiction, but I'm just not a literary fiction girl in terms of writing or reading. You can be high-minded if you want, but give me characterizations that make sense. I'm now almost through the book on audiobook and I'm not hopeful that it will improve in the remaining two sections. Perhaps I'm just too atypical of the average reader. Everyone likes this and I don't.
