I was talking to a friend and she is a mystery shopper and she really enjoys it. So I was thinking of signing up to do it. But I haven't made up my mind yet. I was just wondering if we have any mystery shoppers here and if you can give me any input on it.

I have heared of this before. A friend of mine told me about it too and I wanted to do it. She gave me a website and I checked it then. (It is a while ago so I do not know the website anymore.) But when I started reading I saw that some product you have to pay for in advance so thats why I didnt signup....

I did join as a mystery shopper in u.k. but my main job changed and I found that I wouldn't have time to do it properly so I resigned. I am a member of several survy sites, one of which sends me new items to try before they are put on sale to the general public. It's possible that you will be able to get free meals, free holiday stays and perhaps some goods as well, I think some firms will let you keep what you buy, others will give you a set fee, but take the goods off of you. If you do go ahead then I hope it works out for you, someone else put a post on about this and was concerned that some companies charge you to join, I would try and avoid these ones.

I tried it at one point for about six months. It was about 8 years ago or so. Personally, I didn't care for it. You have to pay for things up front out of your own pocket, the jobs are scarce (or they were where I was), and the payment from the company I worked for was very very slow...took them over three months to reimburse me. I would say to check out the company thoroughly, even through the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Also, don't pay for a kit or anything like that. That is a sure fire way to know it is a scam. Good luck to you. I hope this is a better company than the one I dealt with.

I am thinking of joining harrismysteryshop.com. They offer a 30 money back gaurantee. They also offer a 50 dollar giftcard from you choice of place (in selection) I think you have to cancel trails though. And the sign-up is close to 35.00, I think it was. Have you heard of this site? Which site did your friend use?
