Good-bye my friends, I am not happy!

Well, are you not the lucky one. You started out with a star of 10. I started out with a star rating of 9, and did not for one second ask why that was the case. I understand that they need to keep track of things, and rate accordingly. I myself am not here for the money, although it is nice. I am here in order to help other people out, and to be helped out. Perhaps you could send a message to myLot, asking them why your star has dropped. A cynical person might think that this was a way of geting attention, and seeing how popular you are. The Seven Network series 'Home & Away' did a similar thing with the character of 'Sally Fletcher' in last year's cliff hanger. With everyone asking if 'she was going to live or die' it was a way of finding out how popular the character is, and how popular the soap in general is. Kate Ritchie is in the 'Guiness book of world records' for the longest character on a soap opera - or similar to that. STAY - WE LOVE YOU AND YOUR DISCUSSIONS. (rofl). ps beats emc any day.

I am sure myLot did not drop your rating 1 point because you did not post for a day. The best guess as to how points are scored has to do with how many + and - and best responses you get. This means that if you post anything contentious, or constructive critism of anybody, or almost anything truthful that small minded people don't like, you could lose a point. Not fair, true, but that's the way it is. As time passes there will be very few 10's anyway, I betcha!

Gee, I hope you really don't go caramello. I, and many others, do enjoy chatting with you although I haven't done much of that lately because of other committments. I suspect that the reason your rating dropped was because some people didn't appreciate you or the comments that you made. Suggest that you send a message to myLot asking them why it has happened, and although they won't tell you who gave you a negative, if that is the case, they might say what happened. I have hardly been here for over a week now and my rating has not dropped, but then again it could still happen to me at any time too. LOL Just ignore those people and continue doing what you have been doing in the past, because your true friends will still respond to your discussions. Why let some piddly little thing like this take away from you something that you enjoy? Gee, terrible thought that you could be forced to spend more time at emc and with that blasted eric popping up all over the place. I don't want to be talking to you there either. :)

I am sure you will up there again, we will not accept a good-bye from you it is just not negotiable.... I think you are an 11.

I don't worry about it. I mean hey they diden't have ranking before and we went on our merry lil way so don't worry about it hun. Plus is only a number. You post good questions and respond to others so you will be back up there.

ive sometimes not been on all day or posted but my rating hasnt changed.. im sure its just a few narrow minded people not agreeing with you we all love ya so hang in there hon

you don't have to feel so bad about it. you can get back to ten again soon. i haven't had the 10 star but i am happy to be here meeting great people around like you. so, if you leave this site, another great person will be missed by most of us. hang on. everything's gonna be just fine.

it happened to me also.when it was introduced i had a 10 star rating.it was 10 before 2 days.but for the past two days i cant able to spend more time here and i posted very very few posts.when i posted one today i can see that the star has been reduced from 10 to 9.i am also much worried.but not having any idea to say good bye.

It seems strange indeed as I haven't been on lately either, and am sure that I have quietly upset a few.... okay...several people and my star rating hasn't changed! Maybe as suggested, email myLot and they may respond to your question with a plausable answer! From what I have traced back on your discussions started and responded to there is nothing untoward in your posts! I hope you recieve an answer caramello! Good luck!

hmmmm become 9 star is not that bad. U have many friends in mylot if I read from other responce. is that the most importand thing? I dont know, but I dont care with my star as long as I'm doing good stuff and my friends keep on my side and congratz for become 10 again ^^

Caramello, mine went down from a 10 to a 9 overnight, too. I must have pissed somebody off. Oh, well...

I gave you a + for this discussion- we'll get you back up there by the end of the day! Don't worry about it- you probably said something that somebody didn't like and they gave you a neg. rating (which is not what it's for, as you know). We have to all remember to keep using the positive ratings in our discussions when they are deserved so that this doesn't discourage the people who do such a great job (like you!). Hang in there, don't worry about it.

Mine has been bouncing around between 8 and 9. I am not sure what causes it change when you do the same things every day. I would think it has to do with the ratings. For some reason you might get a few negatives and fewer positives. I think it would be easy to keep a 10 rating because you already have an army of people that will rate you positively. It looks like you are back to a ten.

Oh, dont give up so quickly just for that star rating. Just try to think that before when they didnt put this feature we've been enjoying and dont really bother. Prove yourself again and that could motivate you more posting and discussing things here in mylot.

Well there is a star with 10 on it ,why to crib about star rating as it does not affect any money we get.I am stuck at 9 for quite some time but why to worry.
