Teachers Who Smoke

lol...i had a teacher in middle school who would smoke ouside in front of the school but that didnt change my opinion on her...i also had teachers who smoked on the school stairs

Just please do not smoke in front of your students. :-) This may confuse them since they look up to teachers as role models.

Dear blogyourself, dont get me wrong. Not only teachers, i will look down upon anybody who smokes. It would look worse if it is done by a teacher of my kids. I am really sorry to say this because i consider you as a very good friend of mine and hate to hurt your feelings. But I just have to say this. Please, please do try to get rid of this habit if you can. I am sure you can do this. Just think about your health and the health of the other people who are around you. I wish you luck and very happy to know that you'd be starting as a teacher soon.

Trust me there are many teachers who smoke and no it doesn't effect your ability nor anyones opinion of your ability to teach. The two have no bearing on the other. Look at how many people go to doctors who smoke. They don't worry about that. What it is more important is what you teach and how you teach, not what you do on your off time.

No, it wouldn't make me look at you any different. I had teachers in school that smoked. They were good teachers too.

according to teachers code of ethics smoking should be avoided specially us teachers but when you looked around you can see teachers are also smoking.You can teach granted that you smoke but you need to keep in mind that you will do it outside the classroom and avoid that the student will see you.Remember that a teacher must be a good model.There is no such a perfect teacher anyway.

i hate the teachers who smoke.i treat teachers as gods and they must keep it up.but if they do like that pupils may not give respect or treat the teacher in a proper manner.
