i watched a movie today and it is based on a book. it relates to many of us in the world. all girls should see it. it's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. It's very good and is a heartfelt movie. If you've seen this then tell me what you thought about it? If you havent' seen it will you see it now?

This really is an excellent movie. It shows us that no matter what we look like or how much money we have, everyone has their own problems. It also teaches us to give people a chance even if they don't seem to be the kind of person you would initially choose as a friend. I loved it!

I wasn't able to watch the entire movie, but found it really worth watching. I hope to watch it in its entirety. It is a coming of age movie. One that appeals to adults and teens too.

it wasnt very well known. i heard of it from a book and from my sisters. i fell in love with the book and had to see the movie. some things were slightly different but for the most part it did follow the book. everything is ok here and hope you are doing well. thanks gabs..

I loved this movie! I bought it for my girls for Christmas. It's definitely a tear jerker movie, plus feel good movie... I bought the books too and have read the first one, but haven't read the second one yet. I'm pretty sure there's a new one out now too.

yes it is a good movie. i'm sure your girls enjoyed it. i've read the first book and ordered the second and third one from ebay. i can't wait to get them. that book is the only ones i have ever read in full. i hope these others will be the same way. a 4th one just came out it's called forever in blue. i think. i'll double check that. thanks for responding.

i haven't heard of that movie, but since you recommend it, my friend, i'll take note of this title. i'll try to look for this movie, watch it and let you know what i think. i'll go back to this forum as soon as i've seen this one. thanks for your recommendation.

My g/f and I go to the movies usually on a Sunday.Now,if she does go see this movie,I will be "dragged" in too.
My question is;will I enjoy the movie too or is it beyond my chromosonal comprehension??

this movie isn't in theaters anymore. it's actually getting old. so i think you're safe as far as that goes. i don't know if you'll like the movie but i dont' think my boyfriend would. those movies aren't his thing and i don't make him watch them. i watch them by myself when he's working. but do tell her to rent it.

I have not seen this movie or heard of it until now. After reading all of your posts on it I will have to look for it and watch it. We usually get a couple of movies a week so I will put this on my list.

I have seen this movie and it is very good. I think it is about the value of friendship and it's one of those movies that really gets to you. I would watch it again. :)

it's about 4 girls that have been friends since birth and they go into a thrift store and find these jeans and they all try them on and they fit them all perfectly. they are being split up for the first time in their lives this summer and this is the way they keep close to each other. each of them go through their own stories this summer and all become closer together. it is very touching. you should check it out.

My friend told me that she watched it, and so, I was thinking that maybe I will also see it sometime. I didn't think that I would want to, because I figured it might be a movie more suited to girls that are in their teens, and under, which I am not...however, if I get a chance, then, I will probably check it out.

i've never seen it on tv before. i don't think it was very popular at the time, but it was very good. it has America Ferrera in it and the girl from gilmore girls. (forgot her real name). i rented it for $1 yesterday at Family Video

This movie was very touching and deep. Though it may be targeted to the teenaged audience, I really enjoyed it and it allowed for me to see how innocence and beautiful, yet sometimes tragic being in love or thinking that one is in love at that age can really be. It definitely focuses on other issues that teens face with emotions growing up and finding who they are as individuals, and I think that it is beautifully written in the book. The movie was interesting and I'm glad I had the chance to see it. It's awesome! Happy MyLotting!
