Your husband might have been a good cook, or he may also tend to compare yours with his mother's cooking. Too bad...a stab on our ego so to speak...but then, cheer up!!!...we can be good cooks if we really want to learn...try harder, and be patient. Your cooking will improve in time.

Right. It's really a relief for us to have somebody with us who knows how to cook. And don't you know that the cooks' happiest moments are when there's nothing left for them on the table. :)

I love cooking and have only ever get complaints when I put mushrooms in the food. My kids hate them. I must be a pretty good cook though, when ever my son goes anywhere he refuses to eat anyone else's food saying "I like my mum's cooking, I'll wait till I get home", thats even if he has a weekend stay at a friends..lol My specialties are Asian dishes next would be pastries and homemade bread.

Ever since I was a child I really wonder what my mom was so busy on our restuarant business she spend all day in the kitchen preparing for our specialty "kambing or goat delicacy" which is a big hit along quezon ave from 70's until now and out of my curiosity I really want to learn and to cut the story to short I became of the best cook in terms of goat delicacy lol! I really love the art of cooking and expermenting that's explain how I got myself gain weight. Lucky that my husband is a real good cook and when it comes to cooking we are a real good pair.

I consider myself to be a good cook. In fact, when my wife's family comes to visit, they ask which one of us will be cooking dinner! :D I really like to make curries or stirfries. My father-in-law is a meat-and-potatoes man and thinks I grill a good steak.

I love cooking and have received many compliments on my cooking. One recipe that I have is for Cabbage Casserole is always requested at family gatherings. Another is Cabbage Beef Soup that I am asked to make at least 10 times during cold months. My husband loves my homemade Chicken Pot Pie.
