Off to the Mall to Buy Nothing at All!

The Christmas Tree Shops - Don't you just love a bargain?

Tomorrow we will be venturing off to the mall. We have little funds to buy anything with so it will just be a window shopping venture. I do love to browse the shops. Now I am not 100% sure that I will be able to keep myself from passing up a good bargain should I see one. We are going to my favorite store...The Christmas Tree Shops! Don't you just love a bargain? I do.

Window shopping is always nice. Having money to buy stuff is even better, though.

Not getting sleep last night has forced me to make the decision to stay home. Our grandkids are coming to visit tonight and I need to reserve my energy.

I like to browse too and I'm in the same financial situation as you. Have you ever noticed that whenever you go shopping and you have money to spend you can't really find anything that you like and the time you shop with no money, you see a million things that you wish you could buy? That happens to me almost all the time.

Doesn't that just frost your biscuits! Or when you don't have any money you encounter a great sale that is really stupid of you not to buy.

We didn't get to the mall, but did go to the Walmart in the next state. Our Walmart is referred to as the Smallmart. I found a sweater for $3 and a Sweater with mock long sleeved shirt for $3. Those will be gifts for my granddaughter's birthday. It was a great find!

I hope you have fun! I don't like to go window shopping when I know that I shouldn't be spending money. It's depressing either way. You either spend money that you shouldn't spend or you pass up a great buy and feel sorry for yourself and depressed. It's just not as much fun to look and not buy! Is the Christmas Tree Shop a Christmas decoration store or a craft store? I assume that it's open year-round. I have never heard of it before.

It is open year-round. They sell many different items. Great bargains are to be had. If you manage to get something on clearance it is usually a really great buy.

Did you say BARGAIN? My eyes have rolled back into my head, I am frothing at the mouth and my head is spinning around on my shoulders. Where is this bargain. I am on a need to know basis. I LOVE bargains.

Most of the time, I steer clear of malls as they are sooooo expensive on everything! There is always a bargain out there. You can comfort yourself by saying that you are bettering yourself by being able to resist spending your money and maybe set aside the price of a cup of coffee per day or even just throw a quarter in a jar everyday. You'll be surprised how it adds up quickly. When you have the jar full, take it an cash in. Then spend it on a night out or a special gift for yourself or something you really want, but just can't see taking out of your budget. You can do it!

I am avoiding window shopping, even. Whenever I go window shopping, I always end up buying something and we have no space for things nor money to buy things. But I hope you have lots of fun. I admire anyone who can go into a mall without buying anything.

It depends on my mood. i like window shopping, because by this way i can learn a lot things.maybe these information will help me make decision in buying something in the future.also, this is one of the best way for me to relax myself. Frankly speaking, i do not like bargaining. but i like watching other people bargaining. if I want ot buy some thing , i think the price is reasonable, I will buy it straightly.it there is a small change, usually i will let the seller keep it.if i want to buy something, and some other people are bargaining with the seller, I will stand by and wait and watch how they bargain. at last, when they close the deal, I will buy the thing at the bargaining price.

I used to love taking my little ones when it was snowy and icky out and they simply needed to get out of the house! We would walk along and look at the many things, browse the book stores and read (just like a library) and of course I'd try to have some extra $ on hand to get a treat of an Orange Julius. I'm laughing to myself at the girls both yelling at their brother, even when they were small "Richard! Quit drinking it all, we have to share!!!" Great memories can be had with simple pleasures like these.

Oh yes I do love a bargain. I dont usually go to the mall anymore because we have alot of new stores in my area that are great. So it saves me money in gas because the malls are not that close to me. So you have a great time browsing. That will be fun too. Enjoy

Window shopping is so much fun. One doesn't have to spend money at a mall to enjoy themselves. You will likely see the latest spring fashions on display, and of course there will be many greatly reduced winter items on sale racks. When tempted by the sales, ask yourself...do I really NEED this item or is it just something nice to have? What is nice to think about is that if funds permit, this is the time of year to find nice winter items for Christmas gifts! Yes, I did say Christmas gifts! Because stores are desperate to unload the winter items, they are often as much as 75% off. One can find a nice pair of driving gloves for a fraction of their cost if bought next November. If funds permit, pick them up and cross someone off your Christmas shopping list! Another good thing about a mall excursion, think of the exercise you will get! In fact, before buying anything, make yourself walk the distance of the mall and back to that particular store. While walking, consider the pros and cons of buying the item and how badly you do or don't need it.By the time you have walked that far and arrived back, you hopefully will be making a wiser purchase not based on impulse! AND, you have gotten a lot of exercise to boot! Have fun on your mall excursion!

Window shopping can be a lot of fun, whether you buy something or not. You can get some great ideas by just going around and looking at things. A lot of times I will end up buying something even though I went to just look around and see what is available. I have not heard of The Christmas Tree shops. They must have good discounts and good items.

I love window shopping, it really is great fun. My favourite time to window shop is at Christmas when all of the shops have their decorations up and the streets are lit with Christmas lights, there's something so magical about the whole experience. I'm the same as you though, if I see a bargain it's really hard to walk on by. I usually carry on window shopping and see how I feel about the item at the end of my trip, if I still love it and think it's a bargain then I go back and buy it. It's a useful method for me to use because I can be quite impulsive and it stops me from spending too much money...well sometimes it does anyway.

Sounds like fun! I don't usually plan a trip to go shopping. But I do love a good bargain! Brand name is not that important to me. I like buying things that are "value for money" so to speak.
