Hey to all mylot, I was thinking that it could be awesome if we all could share on here those little time-savings we found to make our lives easier ... around the house tips to get cleaning easier or organized better, money saving tips ,, and so on any tip that you can think of that could help the others ! Here is my tip of the day : CLEANING THE MICRO-WAVE You should know that is it highly not recommended to clean the microwave with strong abrasive cleaners. The recommendation is to clean it with water only to make it more durable. But, you are gonna tell me, it is way harder to get all those nasty stuff off ! Well not if you use my tip : Put a bowl with a cup of water in you microwave, boil the water and then when you take the bowl out, the steam from the water is all over the sides of your microwave and you only have to cleam it with a damp cloth or sponge and it goes very easily like magic ... try it, it DOES work Now please, share your tips with us! PS : please no scams with links on how to make money fast, only genuine "family' tips .. THANK YOU in advance

What a great topic! :) I tend to burn foods in pots a lot and found this one day while surfing the net To removed burned foods from bottom of pans....first sprinkle the bottom of pan liberally with baking soda and add just enough water to moisten it. After several hours, you can practically just lift the burnt food off the pan. Baking soda and vinegar are WONDERFUL cleaning tools! I also use this one on my bathroom floors and vanity. To remove hairspray residue from tile floors or vanities....mix solution of 1/3 fabric softener and 2/3 water in a spray bottle and spray on the surface. Wipe off...this will also act as a dust repellent and shines your cabinets and floors beautifully.

Well my tip is something I do to make the weekend house cleaning session less time consuming. I work during the week so the only real time I get to clean the house is the weekend and i'm very lucky that my partner helps out too. The cleaning was still quite time consuming though so what i've started to do to free up some of my weekend time is take 30 minutes on a Thursday night to get a head start on my cleaning. Because it's only 30 minutes it doesn't seem like such a huge chore and the time passes really quickly, but i've found that it drastically reduces my chore time on a weekend.

This is a great topic. my tip is to save time changing the trash. line the bottom of the empty trashcan with folded trashbags. everytime you empty the bag the new one is right there on the bottom of the can.

actually, i have started a blogsite concerning this but it's kind of different in a way and this is very good.little things that could help to make life easier. always say "please" and "thank you". these two words would go a long way. if you do these you will end up feeling good and people will be attracted to you and good things will come your way. thus, it would save you a lot of worries and medicines to cure those deseases.

This is a WONDERFUL topic! Ok this is a money saving idea about 'dolls beds'. My parents did this when I was young and my sister and I never knew the difference lol! If your daughter is at the age where she's wanting 'beds' for her dolls, instead of buying her the toy shop ones which are SOOO expensive, buy her one or two plastic vegetable racks! The ones with 3 racks. Instant triple bunk beds!

1. Think about being successful. Focus and concentrate only on success. 2. Read about successful people. 3. Talk with and go out to dinner with successful people. Pick their brains and get ideas and feedback from them. 4. Say out loud to yourself every day. I am successful. 5. Create a book of images picturing your success and defining what success means to you. 6. Get some clear goals and a clear vision. Write them down in detail and know exactly where you are heading and what you plan to accomplish. 7. Journal every day. Write down your successes and your failures, your dreams and your hopes. 8. Be positive. Refuse to allow negative thoughts, situations and people to influence your life. 9. Listen to inspirational and success stories on CD's or watch movies about successful people. 10. Be patient. Realize that success does not occur over night. It takes time and with persistence and hard work it will happen.

Thank you for telling others about this tip and starting a discussion where we can gather tips like this. I have several for using shaving creme: 1) It will work as upholstery cleaner. Spray on, scrub lightly, allow several hours to dry and vacuum off. 2) Spray on mirror in bathroom. Then allow to dry and wipe off with lint free towel or cloth. It cleans it well and will help stop the mirror from fogging over! 3) Use it to get hairspray residue off of surfaces. Let set for a couple of minutes and the wipe off with damp sponge

Too funny. I used to have a magic wand/wife. Then she started working full time. Now I do all the chores around the house except Sundays when she does it all. Thanks for that funny reply also. Loved it.

what ? you don't have a magic wand ??? LOL But my advice would be to do things when you think about them, even very small ones ... for instance, you open the fridge and spills some milk on a shelf, clean it right away ; you wash your hands in the sink and you tell yourself that is it not as white ( or shiny...) as usual, clean it right away ... it only takes a minute and it is something you won't have to do later when you do the BIG cleaning ... at least that is what I do and it does help making the house LOOK cleaner even it is not that clean ... yeah you have to cheat when you have a baby LOL

Use newspapers to clean your mirrors and windows. Just take the newspaper and scrunge it up good. then use it just like you would a paper towel. It will leave everything lint free and sparking clean

i often iron clothes such as school uniforms when they are damp and just out of the machine. iron them inside out , hang them to dry and all you have to do themn is take them from the clothes line and fold. it saves me time i think.

as of keeping the house neat..it helps when you keep whatever you took back in the same place instead of leaving it lying around after use....and as of saving money while going to the supermarket..it i s always better to make a list of things you want...and stick to it...!

but why ? water works perfectly and it is natural if you really need to add some kind of desinfectant try lemon ... but water really does the job by itself and you don't have to scrub

Keep your head kool, listen to your family members ever you dont agree them, try to understand their problem, help them in their work, dont compare with any family member, in any condition try to 'stick together', dont feel shy in doing any work, 'he' should help in 'her' work and vice versa...
