There's your Dems..where's the Reps? Guiliani? McCain? I'm waiting on someone to step up to the plate because right now for the first time in years I am at a loss as to the direction I should vote. Hill's a no-go. Barak is a little too slick for me but the Republican party is offering no one substantial to counter these two. ARG!

I already knew too much about Hillary to ever vote for her. Barak Obama looked good until I dug deeper; now I would never vote for him. Guiliani and McCain - if they were on the same ticket, they would be better than what the Democrats are currently offering. What we really need though is a strong third party to really shake things up. This back and forth between Republicans and Democrats has gotten ridiculous.

I agree that we do need a strong third party, someone who won't be bought or who will only go along with what his/her party goes for. I'm not thrilled with the Republican candidates so far. I'd probably vote for Guiliani if he ended up running. I heard that Fred Thompson (former Law & Order DA) and Guiliani are neck and neck in the polls. But I haven't heard what Thompson stands for. Is he gaining in the polls sheerly because of name recognition and his stint on L & O? Maybe Vincent D'Onofrio ought to run. LOL! What is it about Obama you don't like? I'm reading his Dreams From My Father, and as a result, I'm liking him even more.

I do not support a candidate just because I do or do not "like him" personally. Personally, I have nothing against him as a human being; but, I would not support him as a Presidential candidate. I do not agree with him on a lot of the issues. If you want to know where he stands on the issues and his voting record on those issues - here is a link for you: http://www.ontheissues.org/senate/Barack_Obama.htm This site compiles data on ALL of the candidates and has additional links to the full speechs that quotes are taken from; so, you can see that comments are NOT being taken out of context. If after reading everything about him there; you HONESTLY think he is the best candidate - then go ahead and support him. But, one thing I do dislike, is people who support a candidate without knowing what they REALLY stand for. Then, they end up voting for someone who is "good looking", "I like his hair", "I liked his tie", or "I read his book", etc. The information is there if people will just look for it.
