Clean up after your dog...it makes the rest of us look bad.

I have 2 small dogs and I live in an apartment. This apartment complex has a dogs walk which has poop pick up bags. However, there is so much dog poop left on the ground that it is just disgusting. I dont understand why so many pet owners cant just clean up after their animals!
The apartment management states that if they see someone not cleaning up after their animal a fee will apply. You would think that assessing a fee would lead to more people cleaning up their pets messes.
I get so tired of this. It makes the pet owners who do take full responsibility for their pets look bad. We get stares and angry looks from non-pet owners. Its unfair and its gross.

I totally agree with you. I also live in an apartment and when I take my dog out, I clean up behind him. However, when I see other people in the neighborhood just letting their dog go and not think anything of it..
A notice finally came out that if anyone got caught letting their dog go on the lawn and not pick up after them, it would be a extra 50.00 on their rent...That nipped that situation in the bud real quick..lol

hahaha the notice came out here at my apt and no one seemed to care. I wish people would just take responsibility for their pets.

People need to be more responsible when it comes to cleaning up after their pets. The poop doesn't dissappear on it own. Unless they train the dogs to use a toilet they need to pick up after them.

I totally agree. I always pick up after my dogs, its just common courtesy. No one wants to look at that!

ewwwwww no kidding clean up after your dog. Mabey we should consider sending someone to poop outside there door and not clean it.
