Earlier today i was trying to respond to a discussion in which i used the L word but mylot informed me that i could not use the L word it was against the rules. The L word im talking about would be something you drink (alcoholic Beverage) drink the L word its Quicker. Well i am not gonna spell it out again but im sure you know what word it is. Anyhow i was using the word totally innocent and meant no harm. I cant remember a mylot rule that said i couldn't use this word. Have you heard of this and have you run into this problem before?

Licker is quicker they say. If they do not allow the word it will not posted. I have had many times that I have tried to post a response or discussion and the word was questionable and did not post. I have found a way to get around it. I use punctuation or intentionally misspell the word. : )

Yep. I ran into this little word problem once. I was answering a thread about the letter "Q" and I needed a Q word that meant "odd" so I tried to use the one that rhymes with "deer". I kept trying to post and couldn't understand why it wouldn't take. Finally I wound up typing "qu**r'.LOL

Well im glad to hear im wasn't the only one who had this happen too. I still can't understand what is so wrong with my word, it just makes no sense! Its not offensive and i dont see how spelling it out could be encouragement for someone to use it. Oh well i just dont get it.

I haven't run across this yet with any words I've used and i really can't imagine why the L word would be considered offensive in any way. Any discussions I've responded to that are about the L word, I generally use booze.

That seems very strange to me. I don't remember seeing anything about it. But I cant imagine why anyone would find that word offensive either. I mean it could even be used in a cooking discussion. Wow. That is a little surprising.
