Which bands/groups would you revive? (bring back)

February 16, 2007 2:33pm CST
There's been alot of talking recently about past bands/groups getting back together and i was wondering what bands you would like revive? There's quite a few i'd bring back. Most aren't major but i'd be interested in seeing the betles come back for one last album. (i know it wouldn't be the same without sir lennon) but i missed this and personally would enjoy it. Who would like to see back? ~Joey

The Jam - English rock group The Jam in the 1970's-80's.

They drew upon a variety of stylistic influences over the course of their career, including punk rock, British Invasion, American soul, mod music, and even English psychedelia. Despite the group's limited fame in the United States, they remain an influence on American groups such as Green Day.
I would love The Jam to reform as I was too young to see them in concert when I was their fan. I have all their albums and they were around in the late 70's early 80's. Paul Weller was on all my school books, he was my hero!! I have seen Paul Weller in concert but it wasn't the same. Also, Wham would be such fun to see in concert, I went to the Best Disco In Town concert with all the old bands Tavaris, Chic, Rose Royce to name a few and it was such a nostalgic trip. Everyone was up and dancing all night. I think Wham in concert would be the same. I would definately go!! Anything that takes me back to my youth is a plus!!

I was going add queen to my orginal list, however with freddy m being the main backbone. It wouldn't be a thing that they could replace which would add his spark. Impossible indeed, ~Joey Kudos miryam

I would love to see Fleetwood Mac return and make a comeback. Level 42, Beautiful South, the list goes on, I love the 80s. Although having said that Take That make a comeback and it was disastrous, they were one of the original 'boy' bands but now they are hardly boys! The thing is with most groups including The Beatles, key members aren't in the band anymore like John Lennon, same goes for Take That, they are nothing without Robbie Williams, so providing all the original members who were in the group then the 'revival' would work.

I think nirvana would be a good choice to see them reunite once again, sadly Kurt ended his life tragically. The others would be Jim Morrison (The DOORS), Michael Hutchence (INXS) and Shanon Hoon (Blind Melon). All of these guys are great singer/musicians that I think deserve to be alive till this day. For those who're still alive.. I think Limp Bizkit, Creed and Mr. big deserve another chance to revive their singing careers.

Oh wow, how long do you have to listen?! Ha! First and foremost, Fleetwood Mac. Then Creedence Clearwater Revival, then ZZ Top. I would also enjoy seeing Police again (I think someone said that was happening?!) Oh, I really enjoyed Heart, Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Genesis...the list goes on!

If I was to revive a band! It would be the original line up of the Bay City Rollers! Just loved dancing to thier songs when I was in my teens in the 1970's Something about the music of back then that was magic, Another group I would love to see come back is Abba! Nothing to beat the music from the 70s lol Lynn-Marie

For me i would like the boyband take that to be togehter again. There a lot of good singer inside this group. Proven with their own songs and album sold world wide. Can i suggest the Spice Girls too? Their achievement have been compared with the Beetles as they top-up the Billboard chart and many other charts around the world.
