Do you travel for your job or are you tied to a desk or factory?

A little of both for me. I work at home in our mortgage company part of the time and I travel with a demolition team part of the time. Guess you could say I have the best of both~

I've never had a job where i had to travel, but wasn't really tied down to a desk either. I was always in retail, so i'd have to walk around the store, place some merchandise, price tags, clean and so on. The only sit down job i had, was as a receptionnist/cashier in a furniture store, but even then, i managed to go around and fix the decor section of the store, and clean up a bit.

When I was an auditor in a bank the majority of my work is on the field. I get to travel to a lot of towns and provinces because I audit their branches. Now I work as a tutor so my job requires me to stay at the office for 8 hours a day. Comparing both jobs I much prefer doing my job in the office than traveling. Traveling is quite tiring and because of it I have a distorted schedule of spending time with my family. I can't even set a date at that time since I don't know when and where will the next assignment be.
