Ageing of human is normal ,when times go by ,u will be ailing and everything in your body function less properly, but it appeared that some countries have more centenarians than other countries, it seems that they have some DOs or DON't in order to live so long. Anyone get some opinions on how to live longer?

I've heard the happier your are the longer you'll live. I think stress in life weighs pretty heavy in how long we live. Other ways are to eat right and exercise.

Hi, lpipe0240. Yeah, it's said that being happy is effective for us to live longer. Under heavy stress for a long time, it's absolutely bad for our health. Proper food and drink and plenty of exercises are also helpful for us. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day! :)

I'm already not all that healthy so I wouldn't want to live to be 100 years old. Think of how many people you would have to watch die before you.

i think good genes a good diet and not too much stress are vital for an understanding of a long life and the ageing process. However i would rather have a short full life than a long empty one blessed be

Ok I believe that diet influences your ability to grow older. Also taking care of your self by not smoking, exercise and sleeping well.

my mom's family has quite a few centenarians in it. some drink, some smoke, some over eat..i'm not sure what their secret is with all that going on..but i suspect it's happiness.as long as you remain happy and busy,i think that plays a large part in it.

Well, the long life depends of the genetical code of the person and the way of living. If you keep diet, make exercise and etc you have a chance for longer life. But there are many opinions about this and i think that there are no perfect recipes.

Do you really want to live longer? as for me, i think id be happy if i can live to the 50s that should be enough. but, all i know is that those who lived longer eat less food with preservatives. you have to eat natural foods and drink tea.

Living a pressure free life is one of the recipe to live longer. It has been proven that people who had led a simple life and easily satisfied with what they have can live longer. Another recipe is to exercise regularly and eat healthy food. If possible consume only organic food. However in this modern world it is very difficult to do that. So it is now left to the individuals, which lifestyle do they prefer.

The don'ts, vegitalble oils, They have been linked to brain desieases an aluminum pots are a big no. Hot dogs big no, studies show if a child eats more than on a week they have a 75% more chance of developing lukimia. thats 3/4's! Fish oils seem to be very emportant to long live and very little red meats, rice and soy are also great nuteiants for brain function.

I think having a good diet and be optimistic and humorous can be helpful to have a longer life. Lately I watched the news about a long life Japanese man. He doesn't drink and I think he's very humorous.

The best way to live longer is to eat healthy all the time, do not smoke and exercise regularly. Even if you do those things, you are not guaranteed to live a long time. I think it also takes some luck as well. Those things will help your chances but does not mean we will make it to 100. We should also have physicals done at least once a year to make sure we are in good health and if any problems arise, they can be taken care of early.

i think just by not stressing and being happy with what you have got, with a loving and stable environment would help to live longer.

-genetics, longevity often runs in families. -living in a developed country, where theres better health care, better working conditions, etc -diet and exercise...although i feel like to make it to 100 those things stop mattering. Diet and exercise are good so you dont get a heart attack at 60. -being happy and optimistic about life -surrounded by love and non stress full family situations...

It will be a great experience to live in this wonderful earth with all friends, relatives and others around for so many years. But at the last decades of your life,if you are very sick, then I dont think those days will be very joyful.

Aiming to be a centennial man requires self-discipline and proper eating diet. Live longer with faith in God.
