Those of you that are living or married with someone, who is the saver of money? Who is the spender? I am the saver, and the one who pays the bills. But, hubby works outside hard.

I try to be more of a saver than hubby, but then, every once in awhile, I just have to let loose and go shop. Most of the time I am a very make-do, use-it-up type of person.

My partner is the spender. He loves to buy new things and spend money all the time. He is the one that talks about wanting to buy different things quite often. I am the saver. I save money for just in case....if something comes up, I like to have the money to be able to take care of it.

Be both like to spend, however, I prefer to save and save and then spend on a controlled level. Hubby has put 15 dollars on a credit card which is silly. He is getting better now. He still thinks that he can debit his way around. He is learning to check with me first though. I also know not to mention that I still have money left from my check. We both know to work within whatever money we have.

I am the saver and the spender. I also pay all the utility bills as my husband is often away and very forgetful, so it was up to him they would never be paid. He doesn't mind what I do with the money as long as he has enough food to eat. Lucky me...lol.

I am the saver and the spender of funds in our household. I have to make sure every penny is spent wisely to make sure the bills are paid and that there is food on the table. I also have to make sure we have enough funds for the extras and emergency use too. I cannot rely on giving my husband extra cash because I have to make sure all of the money is spent the best way possible. He is a very good provider and I am a very good accountant.

I'm the saver, but I've recently gotten my hubbie on board with saving as much as possible. I stay at home and he works hard for us, so it's hard for me to try to kabash some of his spendthrift tendancies. But, now we've worked hard for a while to get our credit in good standing and get some higher end items that required financial planning, so I think that he's starting to see the fruits of labors. It's making it easier on both of us. I'm also the bill payer/house accountant, so it's easier for me to see where the money is going. It must be hard on him to just go to work each day and not see where the money he is making is going. I try to keep him up to date with things as much as possible.

I´m the saver and he´s the "big spender", lol. I always try to have some spare money, just in case. At the moment, we are both paying the bills, but there were times when I had to pay everything and others when he paid the bills. He is a very dynamic and hardworking person, but money burns holes in his pockets. So I put some money on the side whenever possible.

we are both spenders. my husband works and I stay home. I pay the bills and try to budget the money the best I can. I am getting better at saving though. I have been saving all my money from surveys, mylot any other online money earned. I am depositing it in a high interest savings account. it`s starting to add up.

Living alone, I am the saver and the spender! This can be both good and bad. I have to be responsible and save some money for "just in case" and for vacations and retirement, and I have to make sure that the bills are paid on time. I have no one to cast blame on if things don't get paid or if I fall short. On the other hand, I don't have to worry about what someone else is doing or not doing with the money, so I'm sure that saves me a few headaches. I have always been financially responsible, so I'm pretty sure that I would continue to be the "saver" in a partnership, also. Maybe I'll find out some day...

We are both trying to save. We have set up a budget and are trying to stick with it. We do pretty good as long as I can keep him out of the stores. LOL He is more of a spender than I am. I pay the bills and see that we have food to eat.

I'm definately a saver. I don't like to spend money foolishly because it's hard enough to payall the bills to start with. My husband on the other hand is a spender. He likes to groan about money being tight sometimes but he's the first person to go out and spend money on things that we don't really need.

I am the one who pays the bills and balances the checkbook but we don't save any money any of us two. No money left after paying up bills. My husband is the one who works outside of the home.

We both tend to spend on silly things at times. I usually do all the bill paying though and rob peter to pay paul... Every so often one or both of us has an impulse buy though that blows the budget!

I used to be a terrible spender but with the guidance of my husband I have improved. I take care of the bills and I put all of the money in our savings account. I now have been able to save for a trip last year to Newfoundland our home province. I have had to pay a 1200 dollar legal bill and down payment on our car, so now I am going to try and build our savings up again.

I am usually a spender, but between my boyfriend and I, I would have to consider myself the saver. I'm always telling him that we shouldn't go out to eat or buy this or buy that, but we always end up doing it anyway. Neither of us are very responsible.
