I suppose that congratulations are in order. *Stands up and pats Tetchie on the back* As far as I'm concerned, the star rating system is overrated, but I'm always glad to see my friends happy to be rightly appreciated by this community. I suppose that if I start posting discussions about the colour of my goldfish's eyes and abandon all those polemics I'm currently involved in, I'll see my rating rise to '10' before the next millenium. ;)

Thank you Thomas I appreciate your comments. Between you and me (and anyone else who reads this!), When I first got onto myLot I was into the depression thread, and the religion thread. I seriously thought what I had to say would be helpful to them having for one gone through depression myself. I was so upset, seriously upset, that young people were being encouraged to get medicated. I even had one girl who said thank you to my advice, said she was going to change her life, then a week later, she was asking myLot about what to do with her Prozac side effects. It was a useless exercise and I was being dumped on and negatively rated because my views were not welcome. And I don't need to tell you about the 'other' thread. In my book knowing self and tactile experience is above all things the most 'blessed' way to....well you know, to those wonderful places we know are there, yet have problems remembering! You're a radical Thomas, you stir the pot, it may or may not serve you - only you will know that in time. You are a 10 in my book regardless of stars, and I will pop in and see how ya doin' from time to time. Thanks for the congrats.

Congrats Tetchie - a very well deserved bluey! I'm mystified as to why I've got one too, I don't think I deserve it but am happy with it because it matches my avatar beautifully - the red 9 also looked jolly nice but the other coloured stars would be a concern and I'd need to change my avatar if I dropped more than 2 points :-) Anyway, nice one Cyril x

You are so right, I clash somewhat. Hmmmmm, oh well it pays to be different even in the fashion stakes. LOL

Congratulations! That is excellent. Only today, I have attained my red 9 star and I will be hoping to get a blue 10 star in the future. I think that it is mostly the numnber of best responses you receive that mostly affects your mylot reputation and star.

Congratulations, although I feel that the star rating system is taken a little too seriously. Ask yourself the question of whether the quality of your posts has improved in order to attain the rating, and if you feel that you were submitting the same quality before then you should understand what I mean. The rating does not always truly reflect the value of the member. Strangely, I have seen very few star ratings change since the system was started, and mine has never moved a single point in either direction.

I really don't know how it works, and it's okay that I don't. My posts have been consistent for ages. I just seemed to be on 9 for the longest time. Thanks for the thanks.

Well congratulamalations Mr. Tetchie! I had a blue star once. I called it Bertie. He went away on a little trip. He said he will be back though. I hope he will be back, I'm starting to miss him

Congratulations Tetchie...you made it! Sometimes you need a little help to reach the stars, but that doesn't mean that the stars weren't waiting for their queen to arrive. As for the color, blue is my favourite...it's so sincere, peaceful and so sadly deep. So..champaigne for everybody?Stars are paying! :)

Congratulations on your #10. It is an admirable achievement. Generally speaking the #10's are well spoken, have good spelling, good grammar, and have something intelligent to say. Hey! No wonder I'm a #2! :-)

Congratz, keep up to your good work of giving good quality responses. I guess I have to work hard as well too. But for now, a 9 is still rather cool to me. I am hardly affected by ratings at all. I am currently aiming for my first pay of $10 bucks. We are all aiming for a 10 I supposed, lets work hard together. All the best!
