Do you believe ALL people want love and happiness?

I would like to believe that all people do truly want love and happiness in their life - I know I do! However there are people that really do not - I don't understand that, however as long as I live I will continue to pour as much love into people and the universe - I wish everyone complete love and happiness with no boundries of gender, country, religion, belief or political choice. We are ALL one no matter what anyone believes. We are all connected!

Who doesnt want happiness in their life
And i would just say love is the thing that lubricates happiness
It fills anyone's life with immense joy and happiness though sometimes it can bring sorrows but that is life

I would ask the same question? Who doesn't want happiness in their life? I would think everyone does - This brings me back to what Deena had mentioned that some people cling to misery, and anger. I guess that doesn't mean they don't want love and happiness. If people would just open their heart and accept to love more and not cling on to bad things that are in the past, they could experience complete love and happiness!! I also think that people want love but don't know how to love because perhaps they came from a family that didnt' show love, so they may not believe they deserve love or happiness -That just breaks my heart that people feel they don't deserve love and happiness :(

I think everyone craves love and happiness. They are basic human needs. The people who say they don't need them are only in denial. I speak to everyone even though they don't seem to want to talk. I give them a chance to connect with me in case they really want to. I never assume anything.

After seeing KrauseHome's post then yours it made me think a little more - I always give people the chance to connect with me as well - I offer as much love as I can to everyone, however when people don't want love and happiness, this is their decision and I wouldn't want to pressure them in any way. Sometimes being silently loving can also help a person feel loved and deserving of happiness - But ultimately it is their choice - As God gave us a choice as well.
What are your thoughts on that? Thank you for your sincere feedback :D

Isn't that the truth Deena! When we choose to NOT love and NOT be happy, we are definately cut off from the love of God. I believe we also create our own happiness as well. We can CHOOSE to be happy or CHOOSE to love or NOT. If we choose to our lives are filled with so much!!

That's awesome that you do, however the question wasn't answered - Do you believe ALL people want love and happiness? Obviously you want that and you have it - the more love and happiness we have in our lives it will be transfered to others so to speak - What do you think??

No, not exactly. I think a good number of people desire control above all else and in that pursuit find fulfillment when control is achieved and maintained.

OOOO that is very interesting and never thought about it in that way - Let me clarify, so are you saying that because people desire or think that not having happiness or love in their life is a way to control?
I believe that there are many people that put up barriers to love because they have been hurt and they don't feel that they deserve happiness. There is enough love and happiness for everyone in this world - EVERYONE deserves it!

depends on the person I think. Some want fame and fortune. Others want love, I think everyone deep down wants to be happy, but some can't come to grips of how it would feel, then become immune to the fact it could still happen and continue to be negative about it

Italianrose_i like your name.I believe that everyone wants to be loved and to love and it is only through love that we get to be happy.Cause the feeling of love is.....wish i could explin it but havent felt it.But i know it's through love and peace that we get to be happy

ultimately I believe that love and happiness is everyones goal in life. Everything you do from day to day should be to make sure that you have love and happiness.

I think definitely all people want happiness for themselves. They just might have a different definition of what happiness is. And, yes, some people do wallow in misery, but it doesn't mean they want it. It could mean that they're so used to it, they're afraid of happiness.
But, I do think some people place other things above love.
