What do you go for first

I like pastas, meats, steamed vegetables, and fresh salad. I also really like mashed potatoes and gravy from buffets. I try to save some room for dessert too, although usually I don't have room left! What is your favorite buffet restaurant? I like Golden Corral and Hometown Buffet.

Ooohhh.. that's a hard question.. In real life, I would tend to get what I see first among my favorites.. But just by reading this question, what comes to mind is sushi.. aaahhh.. I love sushi.. I love it so much that when I first joined myLot, my first ever question was something about sushi.. YUM..

I would go for the Salad and Seafood sticks as those are my Favorites lol I prefer Salad to everything, so that is what I normally go for

Kind of depends what kind of food it is like chinese or italian. We have an amazing chinese buffet here and as soon as I go the first thing I get is the crab salad. I love that. I could eat that and nothing else. If its a good italian buffet and they have lasanga or eggplant I would probably choose one of those first.

I like to go to buffet , i have a lot of favoutite food, but if there are more than 75 choices of all kinds of food , I will choose to have salad first because it is a good appetizer, I can consume more after eating salad, otherwise i will feel full after 1 dish. I would like to try more food.

I love fresh fruits and vegetables so I would start there then to the bread cause I love freshly made rolls and bread.Oh it makes me hungry. R

I always start with a few cold salads, like potatoe salad, pasta salad, olives, cheeses. But only a little bit, because there's so much more good food ahead, i don't wanna be full after salads only!

YUM! For my first dish I would go for anything that is beef and spicy, and I've got to have a side of garlic breadsticks!! Then a soup! Mhm! Great now I'm feeling hungry!

My favortie buffet is a Chinese buffet. I go for cashew chicken,general tso,walnut chicken.I love most chinese food and I enjoy a good buffet,when you can have some of several different items.

japanese food especially sushi and maki. i would love to go korean first. unfortunately, i haven't encountered korean dishes in buffets i've gone to yet.

If there was pasta, I would always head for that first. I like the 2 p's, pasta and pizza. They seldom have the veggies that I like. I would also go for the meat.

when I go to a buffet style resaurant to eat, the first thing that I grab hold og to eat , is taco salad fixings. I get me some nacho chips, and spread some melted cheese over top of them and then I get me some lettuce, tomato, and taco meat to go over top of that. then I top it off with sour creme. Yummy. The next trip that I make back up to the buffet, I grab me some fried chicken, mashed potatoes, buttermilk bicsuit and top my potatoes off with milk gravy. This is making me hungy. If I am not too full after eating that, I grab me an ice cream cone on the way out the door.

Sea food, ribs, chicken, noodles and olives. If I wasn't being too greedy and took too much I would grab a homemade bun if there were any.

I have to say when I am at a buffet I tend to go for the infamous chicken wing. I know, I know. I'm at a buffet, go for something different! I can't help the taste a good deep fried chicken wings! mmm mmm good!

That is simple, I will go for the dish that has my favourite meat chicken and fish, prepared in the way I love. Winterose, you made my mouth water and I am thinking of going out to have my favourite dish of fish. Roasted or grilled fish

I would always save the dessert section for the last. Otherwise, I will just go down the whole array and pick a bit of each that catches my eye. Then I would go for more helpings till I cannot walk. Then I will head for desserts. :P

Oh dear! That would be hard! Assuming all my favourite kinds of food are there, I think I would have little teeny portions so I could have a bit of everything! First I would start with roast beef and roast potatoes... followed by lasagna... then chilli.... hmmm not sure what would come next. But for desert it would be hot chocolate fudge cake, ice cream, and piping hot chocolate fudge sauce!
