That's right; there is now a website for those crooks who are soooo clumsy they help the police catch them. http://www.clumsycrooks.com/ These are the crooks the cops love and the lawyers hate. It is hard to defend someone who tries to rob a store in front of a uniformed police officer or leaves key evidence at the scene of the crime. If you want some good laughs; head for this site and enjoy. These are all REAL stories about REAL people.

This reminds me of my favorite all time "dumb crook" story. In the 1980's in a small town that will remain nameless, there was a small convience store. One day a guy came in to the store and just hung around. This caused the youngish female cleak who was working alone to be slightly nervous about the situation. Especially after when all the other customers left, it was only then this guy approached the cash register. In his hands he had a large can of peaches to purchase. He set it down and the clerk turned to work the cash register. Out of the corner of her eye she saw movement. Already "keyed up" she reacted quickly. Grabbing the cans of peaches to defend herself, she then slammed them down as hard as she could on the man's gentials which he had placed on the counter. The man lost consciousness. OOPS! She had not known he was only a flasher, but nevertheless, that guy paid a severe price for his foolishness. His humilation was further increased by 2 incidents directly related to these events. 1) The ambulance crew was told what happened while carrying the man out of the store on a stretcher. They laughed so hard they dropped him and broke his arm. 2) The police chief was interviewed by the media and asked to comment. His reply, "Well, I reckon if he ever trys anything like that again he'll probably buy a loaf of bread!". I have not named the town so as to spare this poor dofus more embarassement. It is a true story and got some national exposure at the time it happened. I knew a police officer in the town when and where it happened. This is not an urban legend.

I know. As hard as it is to imagine, these people do exist. This site just makes a convenient "resting place" for us to visit and have a good laugh "at their expense".

Glad you enjoyed it. It is such an interesting site. From what I have seen of it so far, it looks like it may have been started by a police officer or someone affiliated with a police department. But, I am sure a lot of people will enjoy it, so I decided to share.

Thank you. I stumbled across this site and just had to pass it on. I always enjoy seeing the "bad guys" do it to themselves and the stories are all here and they are all TRUE.
