As you all know, I discovered yesterday that I'd managed to hit the $3 per day mark in mylot.
I had a lot of comments from people asking me how many posts I'd done in order to hit that, and the only thing I knew was that it was somewhere around 100, give or take a few.
So I decided to make a note of how many posts I did yesterday and how much I got for it. The results were CRAZY!I did a grand total of 78 posts yesterday. I uploaded and got paid a cent each for 3 pictures. I STILL have no active referrals.
I checked my earnings when I got up this morning and Oh my god! $4.84!! People, this CAN be done!! I added a screenshot for you all should you need to see the proof with your own eyes.
As you know, I do have quite a lot of time to spare at Mylot and I do post a lot. But I never imagined I'd be earning close to $5 a day. If this isn't motivation, I don't know what is lol.

Wow! You have given me inspiration to try and post as much as I can! I have alot of free time too. I just haven't been spending it here I guess. I think you also got paid for your discussions posted, I need to post some discussions. Thanks for the update Great Job Hon!

Congratulations for earning close to $5 a day on mylot. It surely is no mean achievement. And the inspiring stuff is that you didn't have any referrals or hardly posted any images to get there. I saw your mylot screenshot and it is the REAL thing. My higest ever has been close to $2 a day and that was long back :( these days i hardly get close to 50 cents. But i always knew that had hardly been active on mylot for sometime so i knew i could do better. But how much better you have given answers to. :) Thanks for providing enough motivation to be more active on mylot and earn more. good luck folks. happy posting. :)

Mylot have definitely increased our earnings and so it shouldn't take you long before you're back to earning $2 a day again.

That is absolutely awesome! I have noticed since they made a change this month the pay is a little higher. In the past I would have to resppnd to at least 40 discussions to earn .50-.65 now I concentrate on responding to 10 and I am receiving close to $1.00. I am having some problems finding things that interest me enough to comment in. In the past I responded with a few sentences which is why the pay was so low per post. I have found today if I respond with longer sentences and stay on topic I am receiving more money per post. This is great for you if you keep this up at just $4.00 a day you could have $120.00 at the end of the month which makes it all worthwhile. Keep up the great work.

Thank you very much. I am indeed actually quite amazed at the amount I've been getting - not that I'm complaining but it's such a noticeable increase from Mylot.
It's encouraging to see because if they're offering an increase like this, then they're definitely making a profit, which is good news for everyone concerned.

One simple request: If you can just tell me through P.M. that whethere the posts were just responses or discussions aswell or just discussions. And also which were more, discussions or responses I mean??

I started up 2 discussions. All the rest of them were responses.
I prefer by far to respond to posts that others started although I've been doing rather well with starting up my own discussions just recently too!

I hven't been on here much lately and doubt I'll have enough time for several months to postanyshere near as much as you did. Congratulations. I was posting about thirty responses a day at one point and that was my personal best. I tried for 50 but didn't make it. 78 is very impressive....What I did notice when I was posting an average of 30 per day was that the payments varied wildly from day to day and I could not see why. Interesting to see if you notice the same.

Thats why I decided on the experiment yesterday, and I'm still not sure where the earnings came from lol.
I'm now keeping a tally of what I do each day and I'm going to keep a track on the earnings as I do so. Hopefully I'll be able to see a pattern emerging in some way.
I hope so anyway lol.

This is really awesome. I am very happy for you. I have yet to make a whole dollar in a day. lol. The most I have made in one day is $0.93. That's okay though. I just have a problem coming up with thought provoking discussions.

Lol, well if you're having problems coming up with thought provoking discussions, you're definitely doing well with the responses if the 10 star rating is anything to go by lol.
I myself only started 2 discussions but I did a whole heap of responses, so it just goes to show that you don't NEED to do discussions all the time.
You can do it just as well on responses. :o)

I still haven't managed to earn a whole dollar in a day I just can't find discussions that inspire me to respond it's frustrating. I'm getting more responses to the discussions I've started which is boosting my earnings a bit I haven't had any images to upload recently but they used to earn me a fair sum too.

It can be frustrating looking for discussions to respond to sometimes.
I guess it comes down to what interests each person. Have you tried looking through the discussions your friends started and the top discussions of the day?
Thats where I spend most of my time, and I usually can find discussions to respond to there no problems.

Good for you! I too have spare time. To-day I plan to devote a minimum of about 2 hours looking at posts and commenting on them. In between I hope to make my own posts.
Then I will compare what I made here, with MyLot against what I might have made doing other computer surfing, or whatever.

Wow, way to go, you must be having a quite a lot of free time, to respond to discussions, I manage to do only 10 a day. But thats great, you have given me inspiration, I am going to have a target for a day from now on??? I didnt know that you can earn so much in a day

There are so many benefits to posting on Mylot. I've made a lot of friends, I've had a lot of fun and I like to think that I've helped to make someones day just a little brighter with my words.

You have to wait for Mylot to update the earnings.
they only update them once a day and so you'll see your earnings sometime tomorrow.
Don't give up. It's worth hanging in there.

Well I earned $0.41 after the update yesterday, so I guess it's something. Hopefully I can up my average to more like a dollar a day.
