Which view do you think corresponds best with the teaching of the Bible on creation account in Genesis 1 and 2? You can suggest other views if you know of any.

I'm surprised people haven't jumped on this one. There seems to be so much controversy over the account of creation. I used to believe wholeheartedly that God created the earth in seven 24 hour days and I would argue that point no end. As I have studied and matured, however, I can see that it's entirely possible that those days recorded in Genesis were not our 24-hour days. Before the earth was created, and up until the time God created a "greater light to rule the day," there were no days, anyway. There are questions about the earth's days being the same length several thousand years ago as they are now. Questions about exact interpretation of the old scriptures bring other problems. I guess what I'm saying is that we don't know and there's no way to really know for sure. I think it's interesting to discuss, but we need to remember how little we actually know about God and the entire creation.
