I am a home schooling parent (and certified teacher). I love to be with and teach my children. It is not for everyone. I always wanted to home school but if my child needed something else I would be open to that. While I think this story is absolutely horrible, we have to remember that this child is from a very different culture than ours. Things like that still happen there. And let's not forget, things like that used to happen here! Thank God for progress!!!

Going to public school is a great way to get sick, that is for sure. I agree that being exposed is a great way to build up your immune system but you don't want to over expose a child that is chronically sick.
