Kids party invited and than uninvited question | | | | Okay we have a neighbor boy that is always at our home to play with my kids. He has been in the same school and class with one of my children for the past three years. He has celebrated birthdays with us, some holidays so on. Well, today my kids looked outside and saw one of those inflatable jumpers in his yard and got all excited. We told them not to invite themselves over because they were not invited. So they stayed outside and played in the backyard. They ended up seeing quite a few classmates of theirs over there and were sad that they were not invited to his party. Later he asked his parents if they could go over and they did for a little while than were told they were uninvited from the party for no reason. They were hurt at that fact. The party is still going on and they don't even want to go out to the backyard now because they see what they are missing. How would you handle something like this? | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | This is just too rude for words, I think this child's parents need to be asked some very direct questions,I can not blame the child as perhaps he didn't have a say in who was invited, but to do this to children is so wrong. I have no idea how you can explain to your children why they were not invited, I am sure they are hurt and rightly so, I would let the child's parents they have the right to invite whom they wish but in future please advise you of any party plans that your children are not invited to so that you may make plans to have the children away from the sight, because children will remember and thats when it goes from bad to worse. Such a sad story.Such ignorant people | | | | | | | jmcafam (2265)

| | I just feel bad for my girls. It was his party and his parents had the right to invite whom they choose but to invite then take it back was just plain wrong. The boy had asked his parents if they could come over and they did say yes. I just think it was very messed up that they were uninvited after being invited. I don't think I would ever do that to a child. I don't think it would have been so bad if they were not invited at all. My kids would not have had the taste of the jumper and all the party activities. | | | | RobinJ (2033)

| | Your poor little girls, there is no way that this can be explained as we can not even figure it out, I will never understand a person not inviting, then inviting, then taking that invatation back. How can any one do that to children, this is just awful , | | | | | | | Ask a Lawyer: Child Law A Family Lawyer Will Answer Now! Child Law Answers Today: 87. | | Kids can be very cruel, they always have falling outs so maybe this little boy & your little boy had a fight over something which is why they weren't invited. I think it's a little hard with kids coz they swap & change friends constantly, although that doesn't make it right fir them to be invited & then uninvited. Have you perhaps spoken to the little boys parents to find out what happened & why your kids weren't invited in the first place? I think that might be the way to go coz it's not right if they were responsible for the inviting & then the quick uninviting. If it were me, i'd be speaking to the parents for sure to find out why things went the way they did & also why they weren't invited in the first place, especially since that boy & your kids have been friends for so long. | | | | | | | | | | Party Rental Services Party Rental Services in Your Area yellowpages.com | add comment | | | |

| | There are people out there that have no clue as to how easy it is to hurt a child's feelings. They think more on themselves than anyone else. If the boy is a friend of the family, still invite him over. It is not his fault that his parents lack in social graces. | | | | | | | jmcafam (2265)

| | The child is still very much welcome to our home. I just would feel aweful if I he was not because of this and I know my children still would enjoy his company. | | | | | | | Inflatable Bouncer Find Inflatable Bouncer Online.
