zero responses? I like to go through my friends discussions and try to post responses to ones that have zero responses,I hate to see a good dicussion go unanswered. How about you? If you do why? Or why not?
I know I get pretty mad when my posts go unnoticed. So ir I can help someone else out why not right?

I check my friend's discussions quite a bit, the reason I accepted the majority of my friends though was because of the quality of their posts, so many times I do not see them at zero. But if I thought the discussion was a good one I will respond to it.
Many times I will look at discussions with no responses and if it is good I will respond, especially when a person takes the time to post a good and long discussion it is not right to let it go without any responses. I dont like it when any of my discussions have 0 responses so I will do the same for others. :)

For me it's not the number of responses, it's the discussion itsself. If it looks like an interesting discussion, I will respond to it, if it's not something of interest to me I will leave it alone, and move on to the next one.

Usually i am supportive, but i have arround 100 friends here in MyLot. I check regulary their new discussions and usually reply to some of them what are good for me too.But i dont feel obligated to do it with ALL their discussions and dont obligate them to reply to all of mine. I have some discussions with zero replies, this was in the beggining when i was a newbie.

I love to do that! If I have the time I will go through and find what I call "rotten eggs" and get rid of that big, fat 0! I have found some interesting discussions that way, too. I wonder why some of them never got responses!

Yes, I have done that on occassion, this week my goal is to go through all my friends and respond to one of their older discussions that was started before I came to mylot or to one that was started before we became friends. I'm on my third page so far, and have one more page to complete before leaving on vacation this weekend.

initially when the number of friends were on the lower side i tried my best to respond to all discussions posted by my friends. However with 89 friends it is now very difficult for me to keep track and also some discussions dont interest me so i avoid them.

I do if they interest me. There are some that do not pertain to me or about something I am not interested in, so I do not.

I like to answer any discussions that don't have any responses because I feel horrible when my discussions don't get any responses. I try to answer as many discussions that my friends have started as possible regardless of whether they have any responses or not. If they have 100+ responses already I usually feel a lot less obligated to respond or respond with a really detailed answer because I'm sure that no one will ever see it.

Friend or not, I try to answer discussions if it piques my interest or to help out a new MyLotter or what have you. And yes i agree with you. Some of my posts went unnoticed, but I am thankful for even one response. Like this question.

I only respond to discussions that truly interest me. If it is from someone on my friends list I might feel bad but if I ahve nothing to say then it would be bad of me to post. I do take time out to go delving back through my friends posts to see if while I was away they had written something terrific. Even if it has gotten 15 or 50 responses or only 1 I will respond to it to give my 2 cents worth.
I lvoe to look back at the discussions with no response. I do this ebcause often times a lot fo good discussions get thrown to the 2nd and 3rd pages because sometimes there are alot of people posting discussions so these new ones get buried before people can see them. I ahve found some great discussions that were buried, I replied and now I see that 6 or 12 others have added to it.
But I do take time out to look at my friends discussions because theya re my friends because I like what they have to say or I think that they are intelligent or they pique my interest.

I have all of my friends set to motify me when they start a new discussion.....some days I must admit that I do not get to all of them but I do try to answer them within a day or so anyways....I always begin with the newest ones first though....I do read them and if I can not share or add anything then I skip them....because of the way I have it set up....I do not know how many responses the discussions has until after I answer them....it works for me and that way I do not miss any of my friends discussions...
I also do not answer most discussions about television shows or about earning money on another site...these usually do not interest me....

I will generally spend time reading discussions that my friends have posted. I still only comment on discussions that interest me and where I have something to say. I don't comment just because it is a discussion that one of my friends has posted.

Hi babyangie27! Many a times i have posted discussions which i thought was good but got 1-2 responses or no responses at all. I normally look into my friends discussions and respond to them if i find them interesting. You can help me by responding to my zero response discussions, lol.

I try to respond to my friends discussions that have no responses. Finding the time is something else. you know? anyways, alot of discussions seem to escape me for some reason, sometimes i don't see certain discussions until they are a few weeks old. i definately appreciate having a friend like you, you do try your best to answer discussions. have a wonderful day:-)

Like you, babyangie, I try, as much as possible, to reply to discussions with no responses yet, since I believe in the golden rule--do unto others what you want others do to you.
Of course, I am starting discussions with the primary intention to start a reasonable and lively conversation amongst the members of mylot. So, if no one would respond to the discussion I've created, I'll naturally feel quite frustrated. That's the reason why I try my very best to respond to others because I know that it truly sucks when you try your best to come up with an interesting discussion and hope for enlightening responses, but not even one will attempt to respond to the discussion that you've created.
If we'll only try to truly make it a point to, at least, try to respond to as many discussions with no responses as we can, then I feel that our mylot community will rapidly grow, since receiving a response from a fellow mylot member is, quite frankly, truly re-assuring. Receiving not even a response, on the other hand, is truly discouragingly frustrating to say the least.

I post only when i have something to say under that topic. When i see a topic started by a friend wich has 0 responses but it is not good for me i don't post.. i don like spam.. and i hate when ppl here respond to topics only to get some cents.
Take it easy ppl you wont become rich here.. but you can help ppl find information easy and that is not by posting post with no sence or by making posts for cents... get it?
I don't want to ofend anyone but that's it :)
