There are some new shows coming up...

Not only is The Biggest Loser returning, along with America's Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance and Last Comic Standing, we will now see National Bingo Night and The Next Best Thing (another talent show - this one for celebrity impersonators). So just when I thought it was safe to walk away from my television set (with all seasons wrapping up last week and this week), they bring on a whole new set of shows to get us addicted to.
I am looking forward to Last Comic Standing and the new one, The Next Best Thing.
What upcoming new season shows are you looking forward to?

I quite like reality shows like American Idol, The Biggest Loser, America's next top model and a few others. The one I am hooked on now is Shear Genius. I also enjoy watching the designer shows as well. I'll be interested to see the Next Best Thing,what is that one about?

I don't plan to start to watch any of these as it is summer time and I want to enjoy the weather and the time with my kids. I don't care a lot for reality shows other than American Idol and Trading Spouses. I really like that one alot.
I believe that Americans are too hooked on television these days. Why is it that instead of spending the time with our families doing something fun, we would rather sit and watch other people live their lives?

That's a very good point. My problem is that I abhor mosquitoes (and they love me) so I tend to spend the summer evenings locked up inside anyway. Last year the mosquitoes were out in full force day and night. Not a nice summer for me really.

Are there any new shows that aren't reality ones? Nothing personal but I'm so sick of reality tv shows. I don't like them to begin with but now that's all that they keep coming out with. I'd rather watch reruns of other shows first.

That's five more reasons for me not to look forward to watching tv this summer. Pretty soon, the only reason I'll ever turn it on is to watch DVDs.
